“Had a great experience at Fountain Tire! Needed new tires, an oil change, and my drivers side headlight replaced. I called on Thursday afternoon and they were able to get me in at 8am the next morning. Super fast, didn’t try to upsell me anything, just did what I asked and that was it! Reasonable prices too, I was expecting my total to be much more than it was. Will definitely come here again in the future, thank you so much!”
“Great repair job! Timeline of repair was off and the was a hiccup with the loaner vehicle, but that has nothing to do with the work that was done on my vehicle. Plus the cleaned my vehicle inside and out after the job.”

“Needed a big brake job done on my 1999 Toyota Tercel involving callipers, rotors, handbrake etc that Canadian Tire and Midas wanted $1900 “or possibly more” for. Safety Centre was beyond helpful, got me in fast and only charged me around $900 for the same job. Super helpful, very friendly and now the only place I’d ever go.”
“Highly recommend! Will take the vehicle for a test drive to verify that what I say is wrong with the car, really is the problem. I am very thankful for that cause I have made that mistake, and it could have been an expensive one if he hadn't checked for himself and talked to me about it. And when he wasn't able to service our car because he was too busy but we were in a pinch, he made a recommendation for an other shop in town that specialized in what we needed to have done that day. The guys at the other shop did have time for us that day and also did a great job, so thank you for making our search for help so efficient.”

“I had a campervan in Strathcona provincial park that was having some alternator/charging problems. Brian, Roger, and Ryan were able to help my renter the next day! For context every other shop is booking weeks in advance and were quick to turn me away. Not only did they help me, but they were kind and thoughtful around the situation I was in. They were willing to drive to where my renter was and get my van in tip top shape once again. “Review is a bit late but better late than never. Ran into a problem with my RV trailer in August as we were leaving Campbell River. Valve stem cracked and was leaking air. Was on a timeline to return to the South Island. Called around. Another Large tire chain shop said 4-5 hours till they could look at my tire. The staff at Associated tire said they would fit me right in. I drove back. They dropped everything, did valve stems on both my tires and the spare tire and I was back on my way in about 15-20mins. The whole team helped out. Price was super reasonable. I looked at new tires and got an honest opinion that mine were fine and did not need new ones. Incredible service.”

“Was in Campbell River for the Victoria Day long weekend. Another shop in Campbell River, who was not able to remove wheels due to a stripped wheel lock, recommended Lakeland Automotive.
Came in 2 hrs before the shop closed for the long weekend without an appointment. Jordan understood my problem, was upfront on what he would try and the risks, and that he would do his best to get it done so that I could drive back to Calgary.
Jordan pulled some tricks out of his bag, got the stripped wheel locks off without any damage to the wheels, balanced the wheels/tires (the reason the wheels needed to be removed in the first place) and had me on my way before the shop closed, all at a fair price.
When thanking Jordan for taking on an uncertain job at the last minute before a long weekend, he said that he did it so that I could have a safe drive home and he hoped that other shops would do the same thing for someone in need. I wish everyone had the same integrity and positive attitude as Jordan!
Thank you very much Jordan, letting you know that your work is appreciated is the least I can do.
While I was waiting at the shop I overheard conversations between Jordan and other customers that were just as honest and forthright as my experience would indicate.

“Wow. I’m so impressed I almost don’t know what to say. I was told by another service station that I needed a new transfer case for my jeep. But it would cost thousands of dollars just for the part alone, that there were none available in Canada or the states, and that I would have to find one myself.
We dropped it off here a couple days ago. Today I already got a call from Mike that everything is good to go now if we didn’t need anything else. Oil was clean, front brakes done, rear brakes were still good enough and suggested we wait.
The hideous noise it was making is gone. The upper strut mount retainer on the left was missing and so they put a new one on.
We will always be taking our vehicles here for any repairs, and highly recommend that everyone else does too. I’ve never had such amazing, honest vehicle service in my life.”
