Good selection of gear, I really liked a couple items. It's unfortunate that I got followed like a wanted shoplifter, which made me leave with out those items.

Every time I come in the store I feel like a criminal. Not sure if it's because of overstaffing but every time I come in to the store I have two people following me at all times... " constantly watching you" . Definitely leaves you with an uneasy feeling especially when you're looking to buy some nice sweaters. I understand the concept of theft protection but please read the room. This is not a one-off situation either. So I'll choose to shop in another store for my Columbia gear.

I came to buy shoes for my son. I wore my mask for most of my shopping but decided to take it off because I had trouble breathing. Staff were very disrespectful, mean and told me to leave if I don’t put my mask back on. Nobody asked me if I have an exception or anything like that. Very poor customer service! I was very disappointed with the way I was spoken to, very disrespectful and condescending. I will never come to shop here again. I made an extra effort to support your local business but staff made me feel they don’t care about clients and didn’t care if I spent my money there. Very rude and made feel like I was a criminal. I’ll never shop at your store again and I’ll tell everyone about my experience!I ended up going to a different store and bought similar shoes. The staff in the other store were respectful of my decision to wear or not wear a mask.

Meh, I went in today to look for some warm clothes for fall/ winter and they didn't have anything. Limited sizes, all the employees were just walking around watching people. Made me feel uncomfortable, so I just left. Disappointed to say the least. All their swimwear was 25% off though. But summer is gone, should get with the program. Off to Mark's Warehouse for me.

The employees follow customers around and stand there with their arms crossed like they're security guards. Everytime I step foot in this store I feel like I'm a criminal.They watch you while you browse; they'll constantly ask if you need help to the point where you cant think. You'll look at the hats, turn around and there will be two behind you somewhere standing at attention and pretending not to stare at you.Its been like this for years.I keep going in every once and awhile to see if they've changed, but nope.I purchase my products elsewhere and will continue doing so until they start treating customers with dignity and respect.

Went in today to buy a scooter for my sons birthday. The specific one I chose was the last one left and the box was ripped up and re-taped. I mentioned it to two different employees and was told “well the box shouldn’t affect the scooter at all.” Understandable, but when I am buying it as a gift and the box has already been ripped open and taped back up isn’t exactly ideal. Usually if an item has been used on display it is discounted or something if that is the last one left, just wasn’t very impressed with the lack of care from the employees in their responses.

For what Campbell River has to offer Intersport is one of the best options for athletic wear and gear. Great staff too

I went in yesterday and two of the women there were so helpful. Helped me find tshirts and a carry-on travel bag. Really good customer service! By accident, they overcharged me for one item, computer glitch, and they were very apologetic and refunded me very quickly . Very sincere and accommodating. I will go back. Very good quality
