We stayed two nights at the Crowsnest! Room was freshly painted and cool from the AC. Comfy beds. Coffee available in the hallway. European continental breakfast was AWESOME - so nice to have breakfast included. On our first night we enjoyed Elvis in the vineyard along with wine, charcuterie and other yummy dishes from the restaurant menu. Before departing we bought some GOLD medal merlot, sourdough bread, a peach pie and a cinnamon bun! A wonderful place to stay for a quick weekend of wine tasting in the Okanagan Similkameen!
Nearby activities: So many wineries nearby! Lots of fresh fruit and produce at the farm stands.
Walkability: We brought our bikes to meander through the quiet country roads.
Food & drinks: European style restaurant with excellent food and wine! Live entertainment on weekends!

We had a really nice Saturday night dinner at the Crowsnest. The food was delicious, the server was great, and the live music rocked.

Went in to do a quick tasting and saw that there was bread for sale. My husband picked up a loaf of potato sourdough to buy….. A woman Who looked like she hadn’t had a shower in about two months came barrelling out of the back yelling at us to not touch the loaves, repeating herself aggressively as my six-year-old was pointing at a second loaf, she wanted to buy. Not touching it- I told her we were going to buy the loaf and she was incredibly rude. I walked out with my 6year old crying- Didn’t bother staying for a tasting and my husband just Paid for one loaf of bread. The young girl who was going to do the tasting seemed worried and asked what had happened and I told her briefly that the woman was very rude and we left. The fact that a winery with a good reputation has staff that treat customers like that, is so very disappointing . Unfortunate because we were looking to pick up a lot of wine on our way home From the okanagan… Which we did at other wineries that were fantastic (Bottega being one of them)… Horrible experience

I live locally so I haven’t needed to stay here overnight but have eaten here twice. The Hunter Schnitzel dinner is incredible, I worked at another well known German restaurant for several years when I was younger and this schnitzel at Crowsnest was better, in my opinion. Could have used a bit more of the hunter sauce but I will ask for extra next time.
The next time, i came with a couple family members and I had the burger which uses Local Clifton Ranch beef , which is very very good beef. Next time I come I want to try the pizza and am looking forward to trying other items on the menu.
Oh and the Black Forest cupcakes are very good also. German to me has always meant quality. Keep up the great work!

Small & spartan guest rooms but otherwise very pleasant. Staff were terrific, the guestroom small but spotless & comfortable. While we missed breakfast (needed to be on the road before 8am), we suspect it was very good. Dinner the night before was delicious!

It was a perfect location. The scenery was wonderful. There are so many wineries you can go to. They have a tasting room, restaurant and a seven room guest house. If you stay overnight they do a meat and cheese plate, hard boiled egg, bread, coffee and tea plus orange juice. The dinners are nice with sitting inside or outside. The innkeeper/host/wine tasting/server/and more takes good care of you. The bedrooms are nice size with comfortable beds and a showered bathroom. There are plenty of beautiful views of their vineyards. This is a great place to enjoy dinner or to go to their bakery or stay the night!

On a recent 1-night stay, we enjoyed both an evening meal from the wood-burning pizza oven and their excellent breakfast, before leaving satisfied for the homeward trip. This is our favorite stopover location in the beautiful Similkameen.

We stayed here through harvest host. Upon arrival i pulled off the main road until they advised us where to park. It was taking a bit so we figured we would grab a drink while we waited. The owner then came to advise where to park. To top off our evening we decided to have dinner in the restaurant. All I can say is WOW! Very rarely are me and my husband in sync on the tope meals we have had... and this was one of them! Would definitely return!
Food & drinks: AMAZING!
