Such a beautiful library with super helpful staff! The children’s section was bright, colorful and fun. They are open three nights a week too! ?

Top notch facility. Cutting edge. Great design. Well laid out. What a great addition to Chemainus. I do hope it sparks other similar developments and quality additions to Chemainus.
From Vancouver Island Regional Library - Chemainus
The new Chemainus branch opened in January 2020 on the corner of Cypress and Willow Street. Historically, the Chemainus branch has seen a lot of books and people pass through its doors since the first library opened in the Masonic Hall in 1949. The previous branch library opened on Legion Street in 1990 and served the community well for nearly 30 years.
