I phone into today to try and set up an appointment to get my daughter a savings account. I was told they were too busy today, so I tried for the next Saturday. I needed an apt before 11, we tried 3 weeks out then 4 weeks. nothing at the time I requested. I called the downtown chilliwack location and they were able to see us today and made the whole experience quick and easy

As a returning 10+ year customer in the past I am extremely disappointed in this branch in particular. I get physical paycheques and every time I go in branch to deposit they try to hold it for 5 business days. Every single time. When I re-opened my account I let them know about this before hand and they said it should not be a problem. It's been nothing but a problem and the staff are always so short and rude, always acting like I am the problem. Not to mention you can have five people behind the counter just talking amongst themselves and won't even look twice at you if you're in line. Honestly just an awful experience. Will look at switching banks again most likely

Every time I’ve come into this branch, it’s been one teller and a mile long lineup. There’s usually 2 or more employees walking around, or chatting and appearing to be doing absolutely nothing. They’re abrupt and rude when doing the transaction as well. Banked with CIBC for 15 years but will be switching asap. Do not recommend.

My wife Julia and I went to the bank yestarday Thursday June 9,2022 at 1:00 PM to pick up bank conformation of my account, the account number in the form of IBAN and SWIFT bank kod. There was "Filipino women" at the desk . She printed my account but IBAN and SWIFT cod she hand wrote on scrap of the paper she give me. I was wery suprise that she is not a professional there at all. I ask her 3 time to write it on computer because this is not a professional letter, she didn't listen. I came to my wife Julia and shoved her scrab paper, my wife tuck the paper and went to talk to Filipino women and raised her woice this is not professional letter - Filipino women started to screaming at my wife Julia "are you yeling at me, are you yeling at me" or more thing, sudenly older white women came and tray to resolved the problem. She hand wrote the IBAN and SWIFT code on my account paper is very agly and no professional. The branch manager was there he was against us as a client he didn't stop the filipino women. My wife and I we were very disapointed and shocked how they treat us.Never every came back to this branch this was our first and last time, I think I will take my money and RUN!!!If I can give them -10 I will.These employees are rude and arogant including the manager.Peter & Julia Joch

Second closest CIBC from Hope… and they manage the Hope Branch as well which is why this branch will also not be getting my business.After talking with manager Kathy Parker, it seems the staff here and in Hope are a tight knit group of ladies who do not care about their customers.CIBC is the only bank in Hope.After 23 years banking with CIBC I am going to be looking elsewhere to help me buy my first home!If any other banks are reading this I’m positive they could successfully open a thriving, welcome and professional bank in Hope and the customers would come running.

Went into deposit money, card was not working correctly; I asked the lady at the desk for help, she gave me a new card within 5 minutes, and off I went. Staff was helpful, area was clean.

For some reason, this location is not allowing any deposits at all at the ATM outside, and the doors were locked after hours so I could not get inside to deposit money. No notice left as to reason why deposits cannot be made. Considering switching banks to someone that actually wants my money.

I am first time customer of CIBC. I had signed up online for an account and went in today to grab a pre auth form for work. The girl who was helping me was new, she was very nice and I appreciated that she took her time. We’ve all been new before and I didn’t want to rush her. As well, the woman helping her was very nice and informative as well. Over all, I am happy with my experience:)

In the 20+ years of banking with CIBC. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with this bank. A simple request to get a bank draft turned into a frustrating experience with a teller who accused me of not being the account holder - all because the address in their system didn’t match my driver’s license. I told her I’d updated the address online and proved it to her by opening my account on the CIBC app and I showed her the address on the account does indeed match the address on my Drivers license. She took the phone and carefully reviewed the information, but apparently it was not good enough! She STILL didn’t believe that I’m the account holder. After 5 minutes of her rudely interrogating me, she called the manager over and told her that all my IDs matched the account except the address. The manager asked her “does the signature match?”, and she said “yes”. The manager said “then give it to him” and walked away! Unbelievable! Yup. And there you have it - the most incompetent, unprofessional and rudest bank teller at CIBC works at this branch! Be warned!
