My wife and I early this year decided we were tired of camping in tents and made the decision to up grade to a trailer , so , we headed over to Cottonwood for no particular reason , we looked in the lot , found what we liked and had a chat with Wally , nice fella , hearing they were a family owned and operated business we decided to support that and not look else where.....well , what mistake that turned out to be , very nice and customer oriented until they get the cheque , then it goes down hill , upon taking possession we did a walk through and found several cosmetic defects right away that we pointed out to "Kyle" and were assured they would be fixed , we went on about our summer , having a few issues that did get fixed along the way , but then comes time for bringing it in and getting it winterized , AND to have the cosmetic issues delta with , dropped the trailer off , went back about a month later , nothing had been done , was promised by Kyle it would be finished by end of November, left it with them till the just before Christmas (3 extra weeks past promised date ) went in to pick it up but was told nothing has been done , now we are going on near 4 months at this point , when I expressed my displeasure in this Kyle just shrugged his shoulders at me ....I left very furious ((great customer service right )) my wife phoned that afternoon and I picked it up next day , with same defects from day one , very disgusting customer service , take my advice and go somewhere else , we will in a couple year when we up grade from this one ....shame on you Cottonwood RV , sad way to operate a business .

Cottonwood RV sells faulty gas appliances ! Bought a new propane stove from them recently for my cabin near Bella Coola costing $1000.00. Gas leak immediately when installed, causing dangerous explosive ignition when attempting to use any of the top burners. Brought it all the way back for repair or replacement ($200 for fuel each way). Service department said heavy weight on stove had crushed the top, causing the valve to leak. Claiming I caused the damage but they repaired the damaged valve. Ken (owner) said they would not replace the stove - Warranty expired. Took the stove back to Bella Coola . Oven stopped working after being used twice. Back to Chilliwack from Bella Coola - again. Won't replace the stove, in spite of the obvious damage when sold to me. I asked why they didn't test the stove before selling it to me. "Too busy" replied Ken. Shocking after sales service . Worst business practices I have ever experienced . Buyer beware.REPLY TO KEN KRUNICK"S COMMENTS : Two return trips from Bella Coola takes time after buying this stove last summer. First attempt at using this stove , gas valve damaged and would not shut off. Could not be used, even to test the oven. Door to the oven wouldn't close properly as the stove body is bent . Krunick, the owner said they wouldn't replace the stove because I caused the damage. Unbelievable. I want what I paid $1000.00 for - a new stove. Now Krunick says he did me a great favor in repairing the worst faults at not cost - damage that was done to the stove before delivery to me. Bizarre ! Stay away from Cottonwood RV folks. Very questionable business practices.

I phoned in August 25 to speak with a salesman. I was told that Wally was the guy but he is busy but would get back to me. Later the next day ( August 26 ) I phone in and ask for Wally. I'm told he has been sick all week. I told the man on the phone that wasn't very professional. He was at this point and very curt. He said well what do you want. My wife and I are seniors. If this is how you are treated before you buy, how are you treated afterwards. Very disappointed.... Seems common here!

Kyle and Allan, you guys are rock stars! After going to 5 different RV places who could not resolve my amp connection issues due to lack of knowledge/ experience (general cookie cutter service) I inadvertently ended up in what was supposed to be an electrical store but that business had moved. The kind sales guy there highly recommended Kyle at Cottonwood. I immediately felt welcome..like a neighbour dropping by for a chat ... Kyle and Allan patiently listened to, addressed, and educated me on my issues, then swiftly resolved them. I cannot express enough gratitude for these guys for their rare and exemplary customer service! ?

CHARGED 1 1/2 HOURS LABOUR FOR FIXING NOTHING AND DIAGNOSING NOTHING!!!I'm posting this review on July 10, 2023. I brought my 2022 Grand Design Imagine trailer to Cottonwood RV a couple weeks ago. I had a fresh tank water leak from the underbelly. There's a pad covering the underbelly so you can't see anything without removing it. I spoke to Kyle and he was able to look at my trailer in a few days. I brought my trailer straight over and was thrilled to have possibly found my 'go to' shop. I liked that this was a ma and pa outfit. Kyle called and said my trailer was ready and only a 1.5 hour bill. Excellent! On my way there I asked if they could check my propane lines as well and in the 30 minutes it took me to get there, I was told they were apparently already checked. Kyle told me they didn't remove the pad below the underbelly as I requested but rather removed some of the fasteners and saw everything was bone dry. Kyle said pressure testing revealed no cracked tank or lines or loose fittings leaking water. I asked where the water came from and was told possibly overflow or venting. I said that didn't make sense because there are overflow drains specifically for that and water should never be in the pad of the underbelly. No answer. I paid my bill and brought my trailer home. The following weekend I planned to sanitize my fresh tank and lines. I drained the fresh tank, added 1 cup of bleach to the 52 gallon tank and filled until water hit the overflow drains. Perfect...until moments later water was leaking out of my underbelly like crazy, exactly like it had been and exactly what I brought my trailer to Cottonwood RV for. I spoke to Kyle and Ken( the owner). Kyle said he didn't understand because they pressure tested everything and found nothing. Ken immediately asked exactly what the work order said...inferring they did exactly what was asked. I didn't like that attitude. All they had to do was fill the tank and they would have seen leaking. Kyle said they could get the trailer in right away and Ken assured me that removing the pad from the underbelly and removing the 2 straps holding the fresh tank up was a time consuming and costly job. I understood that I already paid for 1.5 hours of labour for absolutely nothing. I'm not writing this to bash anyone but just giving an honest review of my experience at Cottonwood rv. My recommendation for anyone going there is to get a detailed work order outlining exactly what the issues are and any specifics regarding the work to be done. Have them take photos of their progress and contact you of findings and text or email you before commencing repair work. Upon completion, get a detailed bill outlining the issues and exactly what the repair was with a breakdown of labour costs and material costs as well. As they say, LET THE BUYER BEWARE!I'm currently using a different shop in Langley. If for some reason I ever go back to Cottonwood RV (highly unlikely) I will certainly come back with an update As for now, I don't have to drive nearly an hour to drop off cash and have nothing done to my trailer.
