Scam alert, they are ripping off people beware they said they don't have any knowledge about german cars and gave me wrong codes for my engine, if don't have knowledge about cars you have close your shop and get into other business

Exceptional honest service! I am a woman on a fierce budget. I came in needing an oil change, but Mike and the guys provided me with some crucial safety issues I had going on with my Ford Escape. The open, honest, and willingness to work with me and around some of my financial barriers blew me away. I'll be back. I'll be recommending them for sure! What an incredible experience!! Good timely service and a very honest quote. I found a coolant leak in my rad, Scott confirmed that diagnosis and provided me with a fair and honest quote, I thought. I compared his quote with the dealership and I beleive he saved me at least a couple hundred dollars. The next day he had the car in the shop and did the needed repairs. Good job!

I was in Chilliwack for my son’s volleyball tournament at a local high school there. I was 30 km from reaching my destination in Chilliwack when the engine light came on in my vehicle & the vehicle started running pretty rough. I safely pulled over to the side of the road to try to figure out what was wrong. I actually have an inexpensive OBDII scanner that I keep in the vehicle so I checked the code which came up as a cylinder 5 misfire. Figuring that a misfire wouldn’t cause any major damage to my engine, I continued on my way with the vehicle running rough, & made my way to drop my son & his friends off at their tournament & then I would find somewhere to take my vehicle to get repaired.
I Google’d all of the mechanic shops in the vicinity & called them all & got the same response, they book 1 or 2 weeks in advance & that same day service would not be available. I then contacted Midas Chilliwack & spoke with Mike. I explained my predicament & even though they were fully booked, he took pity on me & asked me to drop the vehicle off & they would make the time to fit it in.
Since I knew I would be in Chilliwack for this tournament for at least 6 hours, I went & dropped off the vehicle to Mike & then I Uber’d my way back to the tournament.
A couple hours later, Mike called & explained that one of the coils in my vehicle was bad & needed to be replaced. He also looked at the other 5 coils & those looked close to being at the end of their lives as well. Knowing that just to get to the coils in my engine takes a bit of time & labour, to save myself from having someone else having to do it all again to replace another coil in a week or a month from now, I may as well replace them all at the same time & save myself some future labour costs.
So I went ahead with getting all 6 coils replaced, & Mike had also suggested that I should probably replace my spark plugs as well at the same time since those looked pretty rough. Again, I went ahead & had Midas change my spark plugs to save on future labour costs since they were already in there.
Obviously, I wasn’t expecting to have to have all of this work done on my vehicle this far away from home, but dealing with Mike made me feel more at ease with my decision to have them do all of this work. He was very honest with me & did everything that he could to minimize the cost for all of this work to be done.
A few hours later, Mike called me again to inform me that my vehicle was repaired & ready to be picked up. I Uber’d back to Midas & when I got there, Mike went over my bill with me & explained all of the costs involved & I was very satisfied with the final amount considering they took my vehicle in on very short notice & managed to get it all repaired the same day!
I am extremely satisfied with Mike & his team at Midas for getting my vehicle repaired so quickly & back on the road safely. Since I was transporting my son as well as a few other kids, the safety concerns for me was massive.
So thank you Mike & Midas Chilliwack for taking such good care of me, my vehicle, & the kids who I was entrusted to drive home that day! You totally went over & above for me & I couldn’t praise you & your team more! I would not hesitate to recommend Midas Chilliwack to family, friends, or anyone else needing automotive service!
