2 pm in the afternoon and there are 2 tellers. 16 people waiting in line. The bank should have more staff and be ashamed for this poor level of service

I booked an appointment 2 weeks ago with this branch because I wanted to try obtaining a credit card and Danai was the one who assisted me. As helpful as she was, she never got back to me or followed up on if I got approved after I sent her my last paystub, even after I sent an email over a week ago asking if there was any update still with no response. I already expected to not get approved as I have no income but it would have been nice to not be ghosted by my bank advisor.

Unbelievably unprofessional and unorganized. They never look into things when they say they will, and this branch will be the reason I leave Scotiabank. As the owner of two small business I urge you to find another bank. When you need to access your money or look into serious issues with your account the staff are absolutely untrained and offer no help whatsoever.

Well in 3yrs ive been charged with 750 service charge for 1 monthWhich i fought for the money to be returned Ive been wrong acount statements that werent mine 5day son a long weekendbankThe worst bank in Canada might as well stick your money a jar under bed Scotia in Chillwack SUCKS

They should have a quick serve counter in this branch nobody should have to stand in line for 45 minutes with two employees helping 15 people....it's ridiculous how slow this bank is

I see there are a lot of low stars here due to slow service or poor experiences. I think the branch is understaffed. I'm giving 5 stars here because of Philip Jernigan. He is an honest, trustworthy, and humble financial advisor. I deal with 4 banks and generally don't like staff from big banks, but Phil is an absolute gem.

I feel the customer service at this branch location seems to be lacking. Almost every interaction I have they screw up. Then I'm left hanging to call in their service centres (which ALWAYS seem to have a 45 minute wait). When I mention the branch made a mistake, they made me do all of the running around to repair their issue. There have been a number of these, so I've spent hours on the phone or going to the branch just trying to have normal service. It seems they offload their responsibilities onto you once they make a mistake in branch. I have been dealing with other banks most of my life as well and have never ever had this kind of service from any other bank. I can't speak for all ScotiaBank locations, but the Chilliwack Promontory location has so far been a very low level of service and I am unimpressed.ScotiaBank, if you are reading this, reach out to me and I can explain the issues that occurred as well as how one might fix these issues. I'm a professional in life and make enough money that tracking you guys down to fix your customer service issues is not worth my time. I will be switching banks on my next mortgage term due to this level of service so far.

Since when do you have to make an appointment just to talk to the teller about getting a access card .I’ll stick to my main banking at envision . They are open to just walk in.After 45 min on the phone just to book an appointment , day after they email me to cancel with no reason why.
