West Star Motors helped me onto my first EV. Great service, alot of knowledge around the Tesla vehicles. Not pushy sales, just calm and listened to what my needs were and what I was looking for. We started shopping for a new electric car, our previous car being one of the first hybrids we purchased in 2006. All I can say is there’s a lot that’s changed since then. We went to the electric show and saw all the different available cars & highly recommend that show if you’re in the market or just curious. The test drives were a gas (ok electric!) and there’s so much to learn. Fast forward to our trying out the Model S as an option. Went used for the obvious savings and saw two S 2021’s available online. Tried one in Richmond finding that both the sales guy and car weren’t up to snuff for the price (mold smell and accidents ...the car that is). So, we headed out to Chilliwack to West Star as that was the other comparable Model S. We met Ram there; he is the son of the West Star family business and has a passion for Tesla’s. The car was red, some kilometers on it, new tires, one owner, no accidents, some superficial paint issues and the rims had minimal curbing that all low profiles tires seem to get. From a sales person point of view Ram has a calm/confidence, is well-spoken and simply knew/knows his stuff especially when it comes to Tesla. We took the S out for a test drive with Ram in the back giving directions and knowledge on the ride, I highly recommend that. I must say that Tesla Model Ss are a different breed of car, powerful and commanding on the road. Cruise control now replaced with Autonomous driving. The upgraded sound system amazing. Automatic adjusting air suspension, what?? This is a premium car. The tech is mind altering. And as for the price, to think that I/we could buy a used 2021 Extended Range AWD Tesla S (647 km) for less than a new AWD Model Y (long range 524) or the same price as AWD Model 3 (long range 568km). Then you add the charging Network and I was sold. Ram was very attentive to all of our requests for delivery, even doing some minor body work, polish & swapping front tires (putting the curbed rim on the curb side of the vehicle) for us. They even dropped the vehicle off at my house so I didn’t have to figure out getting someone to drive me to their Surrey location, that was wonderful. So, I/we want to say a big thank you to West Star’s family, and in particular Ram, for their help in getting us into this new to us premium vehicle and being available to chat about all the tech afterwards, it’s all been very much appreciated!

My experience with Ram was great, he went over and above my expectations. Buying a car isn’t easy at the best of times especially when i was trying to buy it from Victoria. Ram met me at the ferry and showed the car, then a second time when I wanted to purchase it. He was transparent and answered all my question. The car has been great, equal to the experience.

Well taken care of here at west star motors at first but now i have so many underlying problems. He sold me the warranty but doesnt cover any of the issues ! I brought it in a week after i got the truck and he " tried to fix it " but made it worst. I would not recommend anybody purchase a vehicle from here! Seems professional but doesnt check the vehicles or the quality of vehicle before selling.

Where should I start? As an out-of-province buyer, Tulsi and the team at West Star Motors were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. I asked loads of questions and took weeks to decide, but this dealership was patient, always answered my questions promptly, provided all the documentation I requested, and showed great patience and flexibility in assisting me to have the vehicle shipped halfway across the country. They even identified an issue with the vehicle AFTER the sale was finalized, and had it repaired quickly through an authorized dealership at THEIR EXPENSE prior to delivery. I can’t thank them enough. If you are wavering about purchasing a vehicle from West Star Motors I encourage you to ask questions and take your time because they will be there to help. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE!

Tulsi, Angie and Ram were all excellent to deal with. I was interested in a Model 3 and couldn’t make it there to see the car till the following day because I live in Victoria. Without putting a deposit down they held the car for me till I could get there the next morning at opening. Upon arriving there was no pressure trying to sell me the car and let me take as much time as I needed to look it over. Tulsi was very up front about an issue with a TPMS sensor issue in one of the wheels malfunctioning and said it should be covered under warranty. Turns out there was actually no TPMS sensor in the wheel so I had to pay out of pocket to get it fixed. I let Tulsi know about the situation and he covered the cost of fixing the TPMS sensor. And they also gave me a fair price on my trade in.
