I went shopping here with my children recently. Someone was overdosing in their wheelchair in the middle of the children toy aisle, drooling and convulsing….when I brought it to the workers attention she looked at me and said “I know” and continued on working. Was the last time I stepped foot in this winners, especially with my kids.

The Winners in Chilliwack has plenty to offer in retail, especially with the inclusion of Homesense. The selection of clothes there is great, and the layout is very explanatory. There is also some miscellaneous stuff to buy, like kitchen appliances, toys, indoor decor and snacks. I especially like the holiday decorations they have on display to sell for the coming seasons. I bought a bag of organic dried apricots and a bottle of tobacco-smelling hand soap (no joke). If you are anywhere near the shopping center there, I would check this store out.

So I asked for a price today for an item that had no tag and one of the workers said that based on the similar items it should be $6. She came back and the price tag was actually $19.99!!! Wow!
I’m pretty sure it wasn’t her decision but still…. She didn’t even came back to me, just quickly put it on the shelf and disappeared…. Wow

We were at the counter to pay and the cashier named z*** on his tag, literally just ignored the presence of us as customer, no greetings at all. And in the middle of transaction he just went away with one of the products i was purchasing without even mentioning why he is leaving in the middle of transaction. Ok we figured out that he went to check the price but as a cashier you should inform your customer why you are leaving them waiting there. We get it , it’s tiring but at least inform, forget about greetings and all.

Returned a pair of summer sandals and some bowls recently and was surprised that even tho I had the receipt, the cashier (man) treated me like I stole the sandals. I thought the original tag for the sandals was in my bag, but somehow it wasn't there. He openly mentioned to a cashier next to him that the description on the receipt didn't "match" the sandals and the other cashier said "we now have no questions asked returns, so just take it". I felt like running to the shoes and finding a pair of sandals like the pair I bought... Proving that I'm not a thief, even tho he treated me like one. I hope I am never labeled like that again! First time I've not been impressed by Winners. First time I've been treated like a thief.

Well laid out. Clean and organized store. Lots of stock and some good sale prices! Good location and lots of parking. We scored a couple decent bargains and a few fun bits for the littles as well!
