Mya was incredibly helpful when picking out new cosmetics. She helped color match and find the best bang for your buck. Her helping me felt like old friends chatting. She also helped find certain make up brands that I could easily use, as I'm physically disabled. She even educated me on certain styles/brands and that's what you need at the cosmetic counter.

During my vacationing with friends in Comox, BC, on August 18, 2023, I had the misfortune of having to deal with an eye injury that led me to this location.I just want to say how thankful I am with how Samuel Bell, Clinical Pharmacist dealt with my eye injury and the recommendations that he made that I go to emergency and deal with this matter immediately.Before leaving, Samuel admisinstered a tetanus shot and provided me a full realm of other medical advice that I required.He was informative and quite concerned which caught my attention and appreciated everything he did for me that day to make me feel as comfortable as possible. I'm glad I went to the emergency thereafter.It was a tough few days after the fact, but I am 110% better today and I just wanted to say, THANK YOU for your assistance and support during my initial visit to your pharmacy!It is greatly appreciated and never forgotten.

The best place on planet earth. I’ve heard of Shoppers Drugmart, the excitement of others intrigued my desire to explore this new world. As soon as I entered the front door a warm wind gently caressed my body in feeling of love, like a mothers hug. I continued into the first stop, cosmetics. The people at cosmetics were friendly and understanding of my need to buy cologne. I wanted to smell good since I’ve smelt so so so bad for so so so long. The cosmetics people helped me achieve my goal, gaining more honour to face my family once again without shame, but instead the smell of redemption. I skipped the pharmacy , but from my view from afar I saw them hard and work and giving the fantastic customer service I’ve heard of in word of mouth. I was scared of my feelings, being at shoppers felt so special, was I selfish for continuing my journey? No! I will never leave til I’ve had the full shoppers experience. I walked to the front of the store , where the food was of plenty, and the lavender fields bloomed brightly. What is this place..it’s..it’s heaven. A intense wave of ecstasy breathed over my neck, feeling a sensation of enternal bliss and peacefulness. The only thing that could make this moment better was some friendly employees to meet. I was in luck, 3 hard at work shoppers employees were stocking shelves in the distance, with a even more majestic cashier manning the till. I almost fainted, but I knew I had to stay strong. I purchased my items through the self check out, each beep of my deodorant made me smile. The voice of the self check, was a soft, the way she talked to me was as if I finally felt noticed, I felt..human. I gave a slight wave on my exit out, the automatic doors were a sign of leaving the best place I’ve been to, but also a invitation to a new beginning. I checked my watch and realized I had been there for 4 hours. The best 4 hours of my life. I turned my head forward and looked at the winter sunset with pride, and adventures further towards my destiny. Thankyou Shoppers Drugmart, thankyou! ☺️❤️

Went to buy perfume in the $19.90 but at my great surprise I had to pay$29.90 at the teller. And the cashier told me it was $29.90. How come is it in the $19.90 section? Just false advertising...

The make up section is excellent. The pharmacy is slow. The music is horrible and loud. I never browse. It’s just not comfortable.

Samuel Bell Clinical Pharmacist, sat down with me just before Christmas for a 45 minute appointment to discuss, not only my medications but my otc's & supplements as well. He examined it all & explained alternatives & made suggestions, passed it all on to my doctor & then said if I could write a review it could help this pilot project. This service & Sam's presentation of it were excellent most particularly within the context in which they were delivered which I myself would like to address now.I am eternally grateful to the Canadian medical system because if it "wasn't" I would not be writing this. Within the last 20 years I have not had very serious medical conditions but they were exacerbated by also not very serious mental health issues. I therefore have gathered enormous amounts of personal data & can categorically state that for governments to predicate the entire medical & mental health of human beings on irregular 15 minute appointments with doctors is a travesty & an entire waste of resources in people, money & time. And in order to prove that programs like this one with Sam & others brought forward by medical experts need to be voted on the internet to prove their validity, prevalence & usefulness only proves how out of touch & unrealistic these governments are. .....Hilda Wiesner, Comox, BC

I was not given full information on a brand name Diabetes product usage by the Pharmacist (also the franchisee) , who encouraged me to purchase the product in the first place, resulting in wasted time and effort and a financially costly situation with further personal health concerns. I will be going elsewhere from now on, and I had been a long-time, loyal customer, spending in excess of $300 per month just on my medications, as well as a further ~$400 per month on other items they sell there. That's a good amount of money, about $8500 per year, that will now be going to Costco Pharmacy and other retailers. I came back the next morning, after being at health risk furthered by the aggravation of two hours of trying to get the device to work, and explained my situation to the Pharmacist of the day. He refused to exchange the product or offer a refund, telling me: "you opened it". No kidding - I wanted to use it. So, I am out some serious money for the product ($50) plus the cost of the now useless hardware ($100). For nothing. What a ripoff! This place is run by a crook, and the staff are idiots. DO NOT GO HERE.

Hours on Google read store opens at 8 am. Signage on store door states open at 9 am and 8 am on the same door. Please update your signage and online information, as this is really inconvenient and not very good customer service.

This happened a couple weeks ago now, but it still makes me smile and i feel this employee deserves recognition for her customer service. Jessica in the beauty department helped me on my birthday. My dad went to the store to buy a perfume for my birthday and accidentally picked up the wrong one. These things happen but i did not notice until i had opened the plastic. I went to the store to return it and jessica was at the counter. I explained the situation and she was very understanding and kind. she gave me the exchange with a smile on her face and left me with a huge smile. i felt welcomed and heard by her from start to finish. I love the perfume i bought and im so glad i went to this location. Thanks jessica! Ill be back for more perfume soon :)

Arrived at the store at 8:10 knowing they open at 8. Get to the door and it is still locked. I find an employee through the window and ask him to open the door since the store should have been open 10 minutes ago. He holds up nine fingers to me, I guess indicating the store now opens at 9:00. Even as I write this, Google says the store opens at 8:00. As I went to leave, I saw a small piece of paper over the hours sign saying it opens at 9:00 ????

We have always enjoyed great service at this store since we arrived in 2015. I particularly enjoy dealing with Nathan at the pharmacy. Always a good conversation, a few laughs as well as expert advice. Thanks to Wendy as well. Front of house staff are always friendly and super efficient. Can't beat the place really. Thanks to all!

Hoped to buy some beauty products after work , shortly after 6pm May 5. The sales were on until end of day, 10pm. However the sales clerk was already removing the sale price tags and when I asked why she was doing it so early she said that they always take them down at 6pm. She explained that the sale price would still be honoured at the till. BUT I said how would I know what was on sale??? She pointed out they are listed in the flyer.... which is not true. When I looked at it, only a small fraction are. When asked if she could stop while I looked at these produts she left and came back a few minutes later and started removing them again, right in front of me. When I asked what does customer service mean to you...she laughed and kept pulling the tabs. She did go ask her supervisor who said because he leaves at 7pm it has to be done by then. Clearly their primary concern was not about serving customers but serving their own needs. So I decided to leave and took my business elsewhere.
