Had a very upsetting experience with Ben Moss in Coquitlam Center. I ordered a bracelet which was promised to me on Sept 6th. I called on the 7th and no one knew anything about it. On the 8th I called again and the manager looked into it for me. He did get back to me and promised me that the goldsmith would bring it later that day. I needed it for the 9th. It did arrive but was broken. The sales consultant, Saeedeh, suggested I give it to my friend anyway and she could always return it! She also really pushed the "life time warranty" the entire time I shopped and mislead me to think that I could only get the sale price if I bought the warranty.Needless to say, I was very disappointed and upset with this store and I would not recommend shopping there.

I ordered a gold chain online, and the Coquitlam store has one in stock, so I called and theres this lady who sounded so mad right, the way she greet me. How many times i called and got hung up, pretending she can't hear me. And after a few hours, I called to ask if when I can pick up my order since I already have it dedclucted on my account. She said, I don't see anything ordered here, you would have to talk to online, which she said is different than the local store and proceeds to tell me that as soon as we get the confirmation of payment, we will call you. Bye now. I'm wondering she said the local store has no connection there yet you are buying the item, which they have on stock which I paid and they won't explain why I can't get it. help

I was told by a sales associate that only the manager can approve a return, after seeing that the leather strap watch simply was simply tried on. Their reason was that the last time they made a decision based on good service they got in trouble. This is a terrible practice by store leadership to not empower staff. For a customer to be told the item will be kept in store with no refund, for the manager to approve is a terrible business practice and gives the impression that they will leverage any tactic to deter a return.

On December 7, 2020, I went to Ben Moss Jewellers and talked to Tony about ordering a custom made pendant. He had a sample of what I wanted, and after examining it, he gave me a written quote of $800 including taxes. I agreed and left a deposit of $100. Tony told me it may be ready before Christmas. Receiving no update, I decided to drop by on December 24 to check on the progress. Tony told me that it wasn't ready yet, but he said it will probably be ready on Tuesday, December 29. The 29th came and went without an update. On January 6, I got a text that the pendant was ready. Assuming that everything was still as quoted, I decided to pick it up on January 24, which is when I actually needed it. When I got there, I was told that the price had increased to $1,200 plus taxes! If you do the math, that's a 68% increase! Why was the price increased from the original quote? When was that decision made, and why was I never told about the increase until I went to pick it up? They said they would refund my deposit. Who cares! It's now the 24th, I need the pendant, and I have to pay 68% more in order to get it? I may be wrong, but it seems to me that Tony was betting on me being desperate enough to pay the increase. If it's true, that's a dirty trick. Tony can sell the pendant, but I can't afford it, so now I have nothing to give to my loved one. Whether my suspicion is correct or not, this is still poor service. I will not be recommending Ben Moss to any family or friends.

I got a beautiful silver necklace with a dancing heart pendant for Christmas from my husband. Yesterday, 4 days after I got it I was out side for a walk and the necklace broke right off my neck! I had no idea till I got inside. Called the store it was bought at.. they laughed at me on the phone and said they would do nothing to replace b/c I lost the pendant!! Even with the purchased warranty a pendant they would not replace. What?? It was clearly defective. I just want my gift back. ?

i had a beyond Wonderful Experience with Tony at the coquitlam centre Ben Moss location. He is now my go to guy! It's rare when you can fully trust someone. Its very evident that he's not just trying to "sell you something", but he genuinely cares about building a relationship and finding you exactly what you actually need!I got a stunning new ring from him, special ordered it in Rose Gold and couldn't be happier!
