Such an amazing first experience at CIBC. Philip Murgun was a wonderful advisor who went above and beyond to help us with all of our questions and concerns. I loved the fact that CIBC use paperless banking and doesnt give you bunch of useless documents when opening an account. Overall, very happy with my experience at this branch.

Won't be back. leave a message for someone at the branch= (don't bother, just call the Head office), Investors Edge= wait 2 weeks minimum (more like 3 weeks), transfer funds= archaic 2+ days

Called the branch number, took a long time before someone from the Toronto head office answered and said this branch is closed and is just an ATM. No tellers or advisors available. They should really update this listing.

I wish I could give them zero star. Terrible management. Terrible service. Rude people and they don’t provide a customer service. Shame on CIBC. Don’t go to this location. They put a teenager upfront to be rude to all customers. Is that how you deal with people that they invest their money ? Poor management. Sorry for you guys

First and foremost, all commercial banks in the whole wide world should not require a branch manager to handle their clients fraud claim because it’s simply the wrong method used of doing business with the client. The proper way is to assign a 24 hour dedicated fraud team to the clients already opened fraud claim. For this exact reason I am certainly considering moving all of my accounts used for business purposes to RBC.

Horrible customer service. Teller would not even make eye contact. Was rude the entire transaction. She made me pull out my cellphone for some reason too. I asked her why and she never explained. I get the same poor customer service at the Coquitlam center location. Come on CIBC, please train your tellers to be polilte and welcoming to their customers. Going to my bank to do my business should not be a negative expeirence. I will say that the financial manager there was excellent. She saw I was upset, and was kind enough to hear me out in a side office. She also said it was unnaceptable. She is probably the only reason I did not close my accounts right then and there. No wonder CIBC is doing so poorly.

The customer service at CIBC Coquitlam plateau is a joke. The other CIBC I dealt with in Langley Willowbrook was a joke. Try calling any CIBC and get any customer support whatsoever. I want you to call for yourself and see. No one will answer the phones day after day. Don't bother Banking here or at any other CIBC. I am sure a North Korean bank would be have better customer service than this place.

I think even one star is too much. They deserve zero. Recently moved to the area and went in 2 times, and both times I was talked to as if they really didn’t want me there. I don’t know who hired the woman who works the front desk and greets people, but she should not be allowed to work there if she has zero information about anything that is bank related. It’s not my first bad experience with CIBC and not the first location. I think CIBC needs to look at other banks and learn about customer service, because they are clueless. After 9 years of being a client, I’m extremely happy to have switched banks. I think we could use something more practical than a CIBC branch in the area. They are a total waste of space.
