Walked in for gas, walked out with a headache. The slim guy had lenses and a clearly bad attitude. Rude, dismissive, and acted like saying “hi” was a personal attack. Won’t be back — I came for fuel, not attitude. POOR STORE

I already avoid about 70% of Full Service gas stations in Coquitlam due to the so called "students" and their lazy work ethic. I didn't want to go up the hill to the Petro Canada so I decided to give this Esso another shot. Yup you guessed it I sat in my car for 10+ minutes waiting for this "student" to bring boxes into the store while I sat waiting for help next to a sign that says Full Service Only. Another guy with glasses inside didn't seem to check nor care if anyone needed help either. Finally fed up I went in and asked do I pump my own gas here? The glasses chap got rude with me like I was the one not doing my job properly. Do your work and customers won't get agitated. He said there's only 2 people working. Yes usually that's how Full Service stations work. One at the register and one pumping gas, genius. Just an absolute disgrace of workers here at this place. 8:55PM September 5th 2024. His excuse was the other worker was using the bathroom well I saw that worker walking around for 10 minutes without asking if anyone needed help even going into the little booth outside to get some keys but didn't even look at me. Lazy. I don't mind pumping my own gas but the sign said Full Service Only. Take that damn sign down!!!
Better nearby gas options: Petro Canada on Johnson and David or Shell on Westwood and Lougheed. Those workers actually do their job!

We filled the car's tank, but then we saw that the gas level was about 100 km less, and I told the personnel and a picture was taken, apparently the nozzle or the gas pump was not complete, and I am following up now.

Yesterday I refueled with the best fuel they had. For $ 100 , and unfortunately , problems with engine operation immediately began . Misfires, uneven operation, etc. I am a mechanic and work in the service. So I know what it is. The question is what exactly I filled in and how much I managed to mess up the system before I got home . I ask everyone to take care of themselves and their car. Tomorrow I'm going to dump this fuel into recycling because it's just terrible. I have a Mercedes with a gasoline engine and a fuel system, and in general any repair after such fuel can be very expensive. I'm terrified and I hope to solve the problem. I'm not sorry for the money I spent on fuel, I'm sorry for my car.
