DO NOT DO NOT buy anything from IKea anymore .The signs of prices are misleading. The sale persons give you a wrong information. I am a designer and I had many issues which gave my client not wanted me to buy anything from ikea.I went to buy a mattress in coquitlam location on Oct 21 which is 8 days a go .The price for mortegal mattress was $349. I bought the same mattress in USA for $299. So $349 would make sense in Canada. On Oc 21 the salesperson informed me that for queen size they are out of stock so he insure me that the price will stay the same and I should request the website when it will be back they can notify me.the mattress came back to store today . I was very surprise when I checked the price ikea changes it to $459 .I called the Coquitlam store they only thing they told me was " sorry " we can't do anything.I ask for the head office and they said they don't have the number and it is not going to solve the issue. As a designer I DO NOT recommend IKEA .

We just lost our entire home and all our belongings in a fire. We got out with the clothes on our back and our wallets. We are purchasing living necessities again. We bought a couch from the as-is section. The tag says the discount was a black mark on the chaise. Which was fine. When they delivered it the delivery drivers had ripped the plastic wrap to grip the couch and there are rust stains from the truck on the edges of couch. Customer service says even though they damaged the couch further after we purchased (beyond the description of the original damage noted on the tag) all they’ll do is give us free delivery if we want to buy another couch, or a $50 gift card. We lost everything, now the first thing we own, ikea took no care for and said it our problem to deal with now. I’m sure they wouldnt deliver a new couch that they damaged, so why would an as-is item that they damaged even further by delivery not an issue? I feel a bit taken advantage of. Just frustrating. I don’t have the emotional capacity to fight for this after all we, and our child have been through. But I thought I’d write this as a warning to others.

Great place for good quality furniture and furnishings and homeware at a good price. The Swedish restaurant is good and cheap.

It was a long drive, but it was totally worth it! The food court was amazing, honestly better than most restaurants I live near for a very reasonable price. Not only does it have a huge amount of products, but it's a fun place to go for a date or hang out as well.

This is smaller compared to the one in Richmond but that also means that they have more available items! The whole plave is clean and well structured. You won't easily get lost lol they have an andequate amount of parking space. To add a note, their food court serves veggie spring roles and samosa!

Visited this IKEA for the first time and really liked it. Everything was properly labelled and easily accessible. I like the way everything is arranged. You just gotta follow the arrows and will be sure not to miss any departments. Staffs that helped us were very very helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to answer our questions and guide us to the items we were looking for. I didnt ask the name of the staff that helped us but everyone there seemed nice and friendly. Enjoyed our lunch at the dining area. Decent choices for food and prices were reasonable. Loved the poutine ($5) and almond chocolate cake ($3). Would definitely recommend this IKEA to friends and family and will be sure to visit again in the near future.

My experience was pleasant and easy. I was able to find what I was looking for and some... There were some staff around, but it was kind of hard to track them down. Lucky I didn't require any assistance. Value to price, I find IKEA's products to be fair. Obviously, the more you spend the better the materials used. I've been buying from IKEA for many years and I haven't had any major issues besides paint scratches. I've been able to enjoy my furniture for many years. This last visit I was happy that I got an extra 15% off for IKEA family. I also ended my visit with a hot dog, soft drink and a refreshing strawberry sundae. Thanks IKEA

WARNING on Runnen Click-in Decking! Do NOT buy this product from IKEA, unless you are prepared to re-stain them every year! IKEA will not refund nor exchange them! Management was really nice and explained very kindly the policy: Proper care was not taken for preservation of this product. You live and learn.

This review is about the salmon meal offered in the restaurant. MOST horrid smelly disgusting taste. Vegetables...the peas...dry, and other vegetables overcooked...no flavor.... entire meal was the worst I have ever had. Will never eat in restaurant again. This salmon was NOT an Canadian meal to be proud of...I feel sick from the meal. The salmon was the worst tasting smelly fish ever.

Everytime just want to come to buy or return some small items or even browsing, then it turned out you actually spend more & enjoy their open space eating area upstairs for their prepared food and nice selections of the fountain drinks..Although the prices of their prepared foods were rising, but once a while its no harm I guess.?Their pleasant music, warm lighting and trendy home decor can calm your soul and feel relaxed here. You may not need everything from their showroom but they can inspire you for future makeover of your current one or even make a wish for your next dream place..?

I am in the process of renovating my old old kitchen of 38 years, and being an elder, I was just scared to see places like Rona offering renovation with scary prices, and I decided to visit Ikea. I was so positively impressed to find many solutions, and I have hopes now that I can afford a new kitchen without having to pay an arm and a leg ! I saw a full kitchen including appliances for less than $8000.00, I am excited now to do this project, and I am happy to know that I can have one of the team helping me with the design.I can't wait !

DON'T GET THE RAW FISH! It was the worst thing I've ever eaten personally I'd eat paper over that. In terms of furniture it's a 4 star the quality is not the best. But please don't eat the RAW FISH!

One of the few locations in Greater Vancouver. Compared to the other one in Richmond, this one has fewer people going so most of the time is easier to find a parking spot. There are two levels of Ikea the upper level is the showroom. I would suggest entering from the exit so you may go get some ice cream and proceed to the showroom so that you may have a snack on your hand when you enjoying the view.
