This is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. My car has been sent to this location three times for the same problem by a body shop after I was rear-ended. For the third time, my car has been at this dealership with the same issue (a message showing "Check AEB System") since Tuesday, August 13.
On August 21, I called for an update and was informed that someone would call me back. No one contacted me until August 26.
On August 26, I called them again and was told they had tested my car three times last week, and there was no message showing "Check AEB System." They informed me that it was up to me whether I wanted to pick up my car or not. The fact is, my car had been fixed/tested twice before this repair, and this is the third time they have addressed the same issue.
The staff member I spoke with mentioned that their technician has been unable to find the cause. From my communication with them, it seems they don't understand or care about my concerns.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this Kia dealership to anyone for car repairs.
Update on Oct 30: After a lengthy wait for my appointment, Kia at another location identified the issue and was surprised that Kia West in Coquitlam hadn't noticed it.

Yili (Eldane), really good to communicate with. The amount of importance and urgency she showed making it possible for my car to arrive ASAP.
Will recommend this place.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your center. I brought my car in for service, and despite waiting for 3 hours, my car had not even been attended to. When I raised this issue, the service was completed in just 20 minutes, and I was charged $450 for the same. I believe that the service was rushed, and I did not receive the value or attention I expect for such a significant amount. Additionally, I am concerned about the upcoming $750 service, as I do not feel confident that I will receive adequate service for that amount. Given this experience, I am considering getting my next service done through a private company where I can ensure more satisfaction. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and ensure a better experience for your customers in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Hi Team,
I am reaching out regarding issue with my recent service experience at your center. Despite a previous discussion with your team and a promise for further assistance, I have not received any follow-up response in over two weeks. I am disappointed by the lack of communication and the unsatisfactory service provided, which has made me hesitant to continue with any further services.
I initially brought my vehicle for servicing, where I experienced a significant delay and received a rushed service (15-20 minutes) that did not meet my expectations. Despite paying $450, I believe I did not receive the quality of service corresponding to that amount. Furthermore, with an upcoming $750 service, I have concerns about the level of attention and value I would receive If I choose to proceed.
Given my dissatisfaction and lack of response, I am now inclined to seek external servicing options. However, before making this decision, I kindly request that this matter be escalated to your hierarchy or the appropriate department within your organization for review. I hope to receive a resolution that reflects your commitment to customer satisfaction.
Thank you for your attention and I look forward to a prompt and satisfactory response.

Go Kia West: My wife and I had a great experience purchasing a 2024 Sportage.
Jonas was an absolute pleasure to deal with, he made us feel welcomed and comfortable all while answering our many questions and making sure that we were able to test drive the vehicles that mattered to us. We appreciated his communication with us and his ability to be honest while keeping everything professional. It was also a pleasure to work with the sales manager, Noah, in the final stages of our purchase. Combined, they were able to find the right fit for us.
I'd highly recommend this team in helping you find the right Kia.

They almost killed us by selling us a dangerous defective car
Never ever buy a car from this dealership. They destroyed us mentally and financially in the beginning of our marriage. We bought a second hand car from them, trusting the Kia motors reputations and we thought this dealership would inspect it thoroughly. The car decelerated a couple of times in the highway on its own, and this dealership was very irresponsible and staff were very rude. We gave the car back to them so they can inspect and find the issue and fix it. They called us and reassured us that it is safe to drive it now and they said there is no problem with the car. When we drove it again after about 40 mins, the car decelerated again and we were almost getting into a lethal accident in the highway! This dealership not only has terrible technicians for finding the issues in cars, but it is very irresponsible for what they sell to you and the last thing they care is the safety of their costumers. When they sell you a defective car, they are not accepting returns!!!! They rip you off just the way they did to us in the beginning of our marriage. That was the only money we had to invest in a car and they were not willing to give us the option of return although they sold us a dangerous defective car telling us that they cannot find the problem! After a couple of weeks arguing with them and having a lot of mental and financial stress, We had to eventually sell it back to them with $2000 loss on our side just to get rid of this non trustworthy dealership and the dangerous car they sold us. If you care about your safety, mental health, and your time, Never, ever make the mistake that we made to deal with this dealership. Mo, the general manager is the most unethical and the rudest person ever who cares about nothing but the money. I have never seen this horrible costumer service or dealership before!

Title: Buyer Beware: Our Dangerous Experience with a Defective Car at Go Kia West in Coquitlam
Last month, my wife and I purchased a second-hand Nissan Rogue from this Kia dealership, trusting Kia Motors' reputation and inspection reports. Within the first week of driving, something dangerous occurred—the car decelerated on its own while I was driving on the highway, putting us at serious risk of a life-threatening accident. We were just lucky to be alive.
I reported this issue to Kia, and they asked us to leave the car for another inspection. After their evaluation, they claimed there was no problem, insisting the car was safe to drive. However, when I drove it again, the same dangerous issue happened multiple times on the highway.
I returned to the dealership and requested a refund, but they refused. Mo Meghji, the general manager, and Paul Dhaliwal, the VP, handled the situation unethically, showing no concern for our safety and our time or the defective car they sold us. We were given three choices: we exchange the vehicle with only their cars at that branch, they send our car to a Nissan dealership for another inspection (with no guarantee they'd cover the cost of repairs), or we sell the vehicle back to them with a $2,000 loss. They did not accept a return on the defective car they sold us while they should have.
As a newly married couple, that was all the money we had saved for a car. Ultimately, we were forced to take the deal, losing $2,000 just to get rid of a dangerous vehicle, which has put us in immense financial and mental stress.
This ordeal lasted three weeks, during which we were left without a car, spent a significant amount on rideshares, and endured immense mental stress. This dealership showed no responsibility for selling us a dangerous car and refused to be held accountable. Please, don't make the same mistake we did. Stay away from this dealership—they will rip you off and put your life at risk, and their last priority is you, and their highest priority is making money of their defective vehicles.

Over promise, under delivery
I purchased a pre-owned vehicle in May 2024. Deal agreed based on a few negotiations. The primary one is to make sure the inbuilt navigation works well( it was not functioning at the time of the test run) . The sales manager promised and agreed everything would be perfect at the time of delivery, but it was still the same. Then he told me to call him in a week, when I called him he told me that he would call me right back but it didn't happen till I called him back after 3 weeks . Then he told me someone going to call me back but it didn't happen till I visited them again. Then he told me to schedule a visit with the service team. When I met the service team, they told me there was no such note in my file that they promised they would fix the navigation. When I spoke to him about this , then he told me that I needed to pay to get this fixed . " Over Promise, Under Deliver." Deals are made based on trust. That's what I believe.
