Very disappointed in KMS tools. I ordered a Milwaukee M12 sander kit online and was told it would be 1-2 weeks before I could pick it up in store. I waited 5 weeks but never got any sort of update from KMS. I went in to pick it up today and not only did they not have it, they have known for weeks that it wasn't coming.
After wasting 15 minutes of my time they said they could build the kit because they have the components from the kit. The online order guy took me over to the tool guy who said they could not put the kit together because it would cost them too much.
It was at this point they sent me away and I had to suggest they give me a refund before I left. After a few more minutes I was given a piece of paper I could take to the registers so I could wait in line to get a refund.
Summit Tools usually has better prices and certainly provides better customer service. I recommend you try them over KMS.

The products here, even the cheap ones, are pretty darn nice. The staff are friendly and helpful and I have made many a happy purchase here.
Make sure you call to see if they have something in stock as the website does not update live. I had to drive to langley to pick up a drill press that they said they had in stock. The drill press is nice though and they reserved it for me.

There was a bit of a delay on my order, but customer service was quick to correct and very friendly once I contacted them and had it shipped express ASAP as well as refunding shipping costs! Received it within a couple days and am a very delighted customer.

Spent close too 6 grand buying a welder and never in my life have I wanted to walk out of a store so bad...I saved up a long time for my purchase and was very excited about it but the service here made it a absolutely nightmare. Almost 2 hours just too pay and leave the store it was utterly painful... So painful in fact I remember vividly and it's being a year ago but my recent visit reminded me that they do deserve a rock bottom review. If you don't have to shop here I wouldn't recommend it.

Decent selection of tools. Awful customer experience at the check out. The staff was experiencing an internet outage which seemed to be causing them stress. None of the customers in line were complaining and likely not even aware but the tone, demeanor and over all attitude of two of the check out staff was deplorable at best. I was still despite this but was spoken to in a condescending tone by the cashier. I over heard another older customer experiencing the same thing from the same cashier. As a business owner myself, I would be embarrassed to have someone representing my brand in this way.
Management, if you’re listening, it’s time for some training to the FOH staff.

100% zero stars.
Unfriendly staff, manager very aggressive with customers. Also, all prices are so expensive. Better to buy from Summit Tools or Amazon.

Staff was good, ordered an item online and received an email a few days later that it's ready for pickup at the store. There was an inventory issue where it had to be shipped from the warehouse to the store when I placed the order.
My beef is that it took 40 mins to transfer the item from the onsite warehouse where I was told customers cannot pick up there. If it's ready for pickup it should be ready.
