Was there this morning about 10:15Greeter looked right through me and didn’t reply to my greeting. There were many employees everywhere, but not one would help me. An older woman asked me curtly if I had a quick question maybe she could help. All the employees seemed to be filling bags rather than helping any customers. Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I left the store finally without buying anything.

Today was probably the worst experience i have ever had at Sephora. Usually staff is extremely nice, smiles, bubbly and just brings up the mood! But not today.. i was helped by Bria. She was the only staff member at the tilt and when i came up to pay there was no line up before or after me.She literally looked like she hated being there and overall was already checked out for the day??♀️ she didnt try and talk to me during transaction, she wasnt asking anything, neither was she even looking at me. She scanned my product and said “total is $53.21” and i had to be the one asking if i have any points on my account, what can i get with my points and how does it work. She literally could care less and it felt like she wanted me gone as soon as possible. I paid, she ripped the receipt off and didnt even look at me. She didnt offer a bag or even smiled once. Extremely unsatisfied with the service. I wanted to leave asap as i didnt even feel welcomed in the first place.

I stopped in at this location the other day and had the most amazing experience with Melanie. She was personable and friendly, very knowledgable, and she helped me colour match and find products that were in my price range. She was patient and kind with my 6 year old and helped her pick out a lip gloss. I would highly recommend to my friends and family! What a wonderful face for the company.

Today my wife and little son came to this store to use their gift card. The information from the clerk and the cashier was very different, and instead of helping the cashier, Melanie yelled at my 3 year old son when he sat in the chair, instead of respectfully and patiently explaining what was allied and what was not. She also called my wife bad.This behavior is unacceptable and I need the manager of this store to take action to prevent this behavior from the merchandise and especially from Melanie.My son and my wife will probably never return to your store.Instead of having fun and using the birthday gift card, she became very upset.

September 19, 2023I was given a Sephora gift card for my birthday. Today I came with my three year old son to Coquitlam to receive a "Gucci Gorgeous Flora eyeshadow palette", in front there is a cute girl with white hair,said that this palette is out of stock, but I can go to the checkout and order it in this store, I went to the checkout, waited in line, and then the cashier didn’t know and asked Melonie , Melonie flatly refused, I asked if she was sure about this? she said yes, clearly showing me that she wanted to get rid of me. I wanted to go back and ask the blonde girl at the front, but she was with a client, so I went to another store, when I returned she was already busy with another client, my son was tired and we saw that there was a chair he wanted to rest, no sign that it was not possible to approach the table. I was standing right in front of the cash register and Melonie, seeing me, quickly began to approach! She started talking to me rudely, at that moment a client came up to me and took a napkin from the table, my son wanted to do the same, but Melonie screamed at my son and at me, spoke to me terribly and clearly wanted us to leave, she showed aggression and intolerance, I asked why she wanted us to leave! she called me an unpleasant word, I didn’t even believe I heard it! asked to repeat it, but she left... She ran and told her version to the manager, I later found out that it was the manager, when I invited her, she politely explained everything to me and said that I could order online using a Gift Card. The information was different at the box office and at the front. They really ruined my mood, I even cried because of how rude it was. My friends and I used to give Sephora gift cards for the holidays, but now I won't put my friends in danger like Melonie, the gift should be a joy. I also worked with people for 8 years, none of my colleagues allowed themselves to do this, and the level of service can be raised with the help of a secret shopper to understand what kind of people you hire and what kind of face your company has.

My purchase qualified me for a free gift hamper which had a dry shampoo. The bottle of the dry shampoo in the hamper was open and half used up. When I asked them to change it they kept saying, "but its a GIFT..." Well how would you like a used up bday gift? That's a lame excuse. And it wasn't that they just handed it out to me. I purchased enough items to qualify me for that gift. Anyways, they didn't have an extra and unfortunately I now have a "used up GIFT" from Sephora. Thank you, Sephora!

Went to look at the ordinary products, and spoke with jasmine i believe. She was absolutely amazing! She had great advice, knowledge on skin care and was super friendly. I Highly recommend jasmine to help find the best skincare products that work for you.

Came in the other day for a pick up in store (had ordered 2 hours ahead) mall closed in 30 minutes I decided to go in to pick up my order which they said there was no one to pick the order the lady that stands by the doors was really snarky and rude. Wasn’t looking at me and didn’t want to even talk to me-when I was trying to explain I got 1 item and I had already paid for my 1 item and that I understand it was probably busy at the time I had ordered my in store pick up. She was looking around the store the entire time I was trying to speak to her. The lady I spoke to over the one and that also works at cash was extremely nice and amazing! She got my order from the back and gave it to me. I didn’t get her name but she was super helpful and sweet. You guys need more people like her!

I've felt good with my makeup ever since I learned with Claire during the beauty lesson. I couldnt focus on youtube videos and needed to ask questions for personalized information. She taught me a few useful techniques that have helped very much!Also they let me use their phone when I locked my keys and phone in my car by accident, literally never done that before, 5/5special thanks to my partner and the locksmith for breaking into my car during the lesson. ❤️

Absolutely horrible experience! No customer should feel bad for getting refund. You should double check you work instead of blaming customer for your mistake. If you cannot handle the situation just get help from your supervisor or manager. Don’t make things worse than it is because you already made me stand there for 30 minutes for your wrong calculation. Hope you learned your lesson on listening to the customer if that is your job.Now question to the owner of the store: what do you think about this?

The global company with the worst customer service. Today(7/3 Monday), I went to sephora to get a refund my online order. Lately, I had purchased same items twice so to prevent the confusion I brought my parcel receipt and tried to show the amount that I had to receive. But the girl named "Yuliia" only asked my phone number and ignored my parcel receipt.The amount she offered for a refund doesn't match the amount I should receive so I searched for the price on my phone but she impatiently ordered me, twice, to tap quickly while I was trying to show the price that I had to get a refund.In the end, she refunded me the incorrect amount. When I demanded the correct amount, she and her colleague insisted that their calculations were correct and treated me as if I were a strange person.When my boyfriend explained the situation calmly, she finally realized that she owed me $7. She initially came up with absurd excuses, like needing to bring other items from my house in order to process the refund. Furthermore, she didn't apologize for her mistake. Instead, she claimed that all of this was my fault because I didn't explain things properly in the beginning. I simply can't understand how someone working in a service-oriented role can refuse to listen to the customer, make mistakes in calculations, and fail to acknowledge their own errors.Also, I can’t understand why don’t they require verification when processing refunds.Please educate your employees.

I had an *amazing* experience shopping with Claire's support back in April 2023. I had no make-up at all after being at home with my young family for 4 years. I had some big purchases to make and I had NO idea where to start! Enter Claire - she has such a wealth of experience and information; she is down to earth; understanding, funny and very creative. She did an incredible job recommending economical products for my budget and got me completely outfitted for my first day back at work. She is also kind and was able to coach me on how to use all the items she suggested. Thank-you *so much,* Claire, for the time you spend tirelessly helping me - I feel so confident in all the products you suggested! Make sure you check your bag before you exit the store, they don’t always put everything in and when you go back and bring it up once you’ve spoken on the phone with someone, the people in store working have no idea what they’re doing and this never should have happened to begin with. Not only is this an inconvenience but I specifically purchased this on Saturday to use that night and I couldn’t because they didn’t put in my bag.
