“Stopped by to grab some shots of the atrium lighting last Saturday afternoon and ended up staying way longer than planned. The skylight over the central court gives such nice natural light for candid shots, especially around 3pm when it hits the escalators just right. Parking in the underground lot was easy to find even on a busy weekend, and one of the staff at the info desk actually pointed me toward a quieter corner with better angles. Good mix of shops, decent food options, and just an easy place to wander around with a camera for a few hours.”

“Westwood Plateau Village is a charming neighborhood plaza with a nice mix of shops, restaurants, and essential services. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, it offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Parking is free and easy, and it’s a convenient spot to grab a coffee, enjoy a meal, or run errands without the rush of larger shopping centers.”

“A strip mall with KFC, A&W, Chapters, Mr Mike's my favorite PHO restaurant and more. Free parking and recently remodeled walkways. A new large grocery chain is opening. A usual stopping area for me during weekly chore runs. Always cleared from snow and closest area from Coquitlam SkyTrain station to stay warm and dry.”

“COMO LAKE VILLAGE shopping centre- This quaint little mall, not too big or too small, is easily accessible from Como Lake avenue, an arterial road, Linton street or Montrose street, in Coquitlam with an at ground level parking lot that seems to be fairly busy most of the time as people come and go…To me, Como Lake Village is the perfect size of smaller mall that you can pop into on your way home from somewhere else and still manage get a few tasks checked off one’s to do list …
Earlier this month, I ordered some things online for someone I know. I felt as though I still needed a few more items, before I dropped the gifts off at her home as a surprise. My first stop within the Como Lake Village was the BC Liquor store Como lake where I bought her a small bottle of champagne. Next on the list was a trip into Your Dollar Store With More for some gift boxes, gift bags, tissue paper, ribbon, etc in a range of pale blue colours as I think those are one of her preferred palettes. Last, but certainly not least, I went to the Mundy Park Bakery, also located within this mall, for an apricot torte, misted with apricot brandy, as a birthday cake, to go along with a few other yummy treats; Nanaimo bar, triple chocolate chunk brownie, lemon bite, chocolate eclair, raspberry whip creme puff and a vanilla square. The staff here are always helpful and courteous when I drop by to pick up my weekly treat in the form of freshly baked cinnamon buns or gingerbread men. Along with my gifts, and what I picked up here, and a lovely Piassa birthday card from pharmasave, I’m all set to drop everything off at her place. Taking time to make special people in your life feel appreciated and cared about, now and then, will always be important to me. The Como Lake Village has the perfect variety of stores and services to help you quickly get in and out, and solve many of one’s day to day needs, be they for yourself, or for others, whatever they might happen to be…Johnny K Welsh Coquitlam BC”
