I attended the branch this afternoon to get a bank draft for the down payment for a home purchase. The fee was $9.95. I asked the young man that was assisting me if he could waive the charges. He said the bank draft fee is automatically charged to our account. A few minutes later, he said that he had checked and as a very long-term customer of the bank he would reverse the charges. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this and genuinely grateful that he went above and beyond. These days there are so many fees charged for everything. Not only was it such a refreshing change to have a pleasant person helping me but also going above and beyond. Thank you Daniel!! Further to that...I called the branch to ask his name as I didn't see a name tag while there. I called the bank to explain the situation and lo and behold it was Daniel that answered the phone. He was so humbled and insisted there was no need to speak to a supervisor to extend my gratitude.Therefore...Daniel, I hope that someone else in a supervisory capacity at your branch or head office sees this and you get a kudos for your efforts. Thank you for making my day!

Generally very happy with TD and this branch in particular! However, this Sat (28th Oct;) I drove to the branch around 3.45pm to get some banking done but found a note on the door - " Branch is closed due to staff shortages".. I could see 4 or 5 people working but no one offered to help. I wanted to pay my credit card bill and set up auto-pay! It was too late to drive around to find another branch that was open?! It's not what you would expect from a large respected bank...

I’ve been with TD for years but their customer service made me think of changing the banking to the others after the experiences with this branch.It was actually nice going there first, people were clear and felt welcomed.So I requested to switch my credit card to another one in person. Even though there were some problems within the process which was very inconvenient, I was told that I will receive new card soon.While I was waiting, I noticed that TD app was showing me my new credit card on the app, so I assumed that they have received the card already but I waited them calling me as I was told.I kept using my old card with no problem and that would work until I activate my card by myself as I was informed, but my card was declined this morning. I wondered why it was, and finally received phone call from the bank saying my card is ready to be picked up.Asked the teller why that happened and he told me that ‘yes it would be declined because we switched the product’. Ok then why I was not informed that? I was told it’ll be ok until I activate it. Or could you not wait until I come to the branch? Because it was my only credit card and I believe they need to inform the customer if there will be any issues within the process.I asked him questions to know the situation better but he did not give me any answers then told me ‘not really sure’.I won’t be upset if they explain why and how that happened clearly because I know people makes mistakes. But his attitude from the beginning to the end was not changed even though he told me to do better. He was not listening to understand what I’m trying to ask. It was truly disappointing.I think it would be best if the training procedures are checked because I feel this is an issues that shouldn’t even happen in the first place.

This is my bank since i got here in Canada. Its been 12 years now and service is always great. Always good for banking.
