I have been working with Kristine A for the past year on a full build project up on the mountain. Tons of moving parts and last minute panics. She and any one of the staff members she has passed me off too have gone above and beyond to help.

Wonderful experience in the store today. I am looking for vinyl for my deck. Beverley, in flooring, is a great asset to Central Builders-Courtenay. I was greeted by the front customer service employee as soon as I walked in the door. Mark guided me to the right person to help me with my queries. Thank you.

Our first visit to this store since moving to Courtenay a few weeks ago. We were greeted by friendly staff and were told we could being our dog inside. That is what other Home Hardware stores do in Ontario. Unlike other large box stores here in Courtenay.We also were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and shared some of the history of the building. We went to the lighting department and we were also well treated. Everyone was very helpful.Overall, a great experience, we will be back for sure.

Right downtown, the friendliest service I've ever had at a hardware store, or any store really. Even the yard guys are helpful and friendly. I know I like this place because when I think of price checking or want more selection at other hardware stores slightly further away I go, nah, why bother when they have just enough and I feel confident and relaxed at Central.

A warm place to visit. Very helpful and friendly. I had problems finding an unusual item, asked for help and got exactly that. Saved me a lot of time looking. Then the cashier was friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well organized, and competitively priced.

The best staff who are ready to help always. You don’t need to look far for help and they have been great with special orders.Better prices than Home Depot a lot of the time.
