I have incurred an extra $150 setup costs for 2 phones because of commitments not fulfilled by this provider. After posting a poor review I was again promised I would receive a credit if I removed the review. After 2 billing cycles I have still not received a credit. This provider is deceitful. If this review is still active, this has not been made right.
The dealer responded below. More unfulfilled promises. Get it all in writing, or better, find an honest dealer.

I went in there to get my new cell phone set up which all went smooth. Then the guy said I can switch to Rogers and get $192 cash back Little did I know he signed me up for a new credit card. He never mentioned it was a credit card, so now I have to go back and waste more time trying to cancel this credit card. I don’t want.
Edit: Too late to do anything now.
Also the cell service is beyond horrible in Comox and many parts of Courtenay. Worse than third world countries I’ve been to. Still paying for service not rendered. Should be 0 stars.

Simon is the bomb! He went through lots of options of phones & plans for a first time senior cell phone user. He helped with set up, accessories & exhibited exceptional patience, encouragement & confidence. The whole process was unexpectedly pleasant. Highly recommended!

Initially I had a frustrating experience with FIDO, and I complained about it here, in Google reviews. Mine was the only negative review, so I was surprised. I am deleting the details because Tray, the store manager, made things right. He took the trouble to call me, I went back to the store, and he tried several ideas and finally fixed the problem.What’s the lesson here? First, Google reviews have influence. Second, if you can’t get your problem solved initially, ask for Tray. He seems determined to give good service and keep the store’s solid reputation intact.Finally, the response from the owner below was posted before Tray solved my problem. So, all is good!!

Tray was an absolute gem! I have, in the past, had negative experiences with cell phone providers. He treated me wonderfully! He took his time and helped me understand everything and offered to help with anything that I needed. He was kind and proffesional. I would highly recommend him and fido. Since I switched my coverage of Courtenay and comox valley is sooo much better and costs $20 less for the same thing I was getting at the other company. Thanks Tray!!!
