Never enough staff working. Impossible to see a banker without advanced appointments. Never a lineup less than 10people when I'm there. Customer service is garbage. Hire more tellers!

Had a really annoying cheque I wanted to cash and Ravina was really kind and patient through the whole process. Very professional. Cheers!

This review is specifically about our small business advisor Keith.
Extremely personable and professional advisor who took the time to make sure I walked out with exactly what I needed.

They need to change their banking hours so people who work can come to the bank without having to take time off work. The only day they stay open, a hole 30min later is Friday's until 5pm, still not open late enough for people who work normal hours. Not open on Saturdays. If we didn't have our mortgage through this bank we would move elsewhere. I opened my own account to TD with great banking hours.

So tired of the street people in the banking machine area. Time to lock the doors.

I’ve been coming here all the time in the early mornings to use the ATMs when there’s actually parking outside and now I find out that they lock the doors so now I can’t do that anymore. Very annoying when I now have to come down when they open and fight for parking.

had just been to BMO who said 3 weeks for an appointment. scotiabank got me one the same day! i was having trouble making an appointment/setting up an account online as i'm new to canada and didn't have a phone number yet. Had my appointment and my account was set up in 20 minutes (no fees!), thanks nikole! :)

Not about Scotiabank, but specifically this branch. Completely understaffed and unresponsive to anything. Can’t book an appointment to see an advisor at all as they are all booked solid 6 weeks ahead and can’t do anything unless you go into the branch for it. Had to change an appointment due to a conflict and got ZERO response from anyone including the assistant manager who said they would talk with the advisor to get in touch with me. So I go to the Comox branch now which is a little further, but at least they seem to know what customer service actually is. When I had to get a card mailed there for replacement after just moving was a complete gong show too. No one there could tell me what was going on with it other than to come back the next day and check again.

Every offer sent by email is fake and comes with conditions you only know about after the card or account is set up.

I opened up a business account with Keith Davidson at the beginning of the year. I can only say great things about Keith, he has been a huge help and always available to help.

Terrible service. Can never get through to anyone. You would think that with the money they make, and the monopoly they enjoy they could hire some resources, however, we have limited choice and they are all bad.

Google shows this branch open on a Saturday. That's great since I'm never off work early enough to go to the bank.Head down there on a Saturday.Sign on the door says closed. Thanks guys! Really appreciate it!

Interest Rate is 1/4 inflation, fees will eat all of it unless your high net worth and if you are you definitely shouldn't settle for 1%.If you want liquid funds, carry cash. If you want savings, hide it under your mattress. All of these will have roughly the same return as a 1% interest account, but won't have hundreds annually in fees.Customer service is no better than an online branchless bank, so really just carry cash or use a minimal online bank. The value proposition they offer is just nonexistent
