BC SPCA East Kootenay is a caring and well-managed organization that provides a safe environment for animals and support for their owners. Staff members, including Tracy Lee and Rylegh, are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, making processes like dropping off or saying goodbye to pets easy and comforting. The shelter is clean and well-maintained, and volunteers do a great job caring for the animals. Many animals find loving homes, thanks to the dedicated team and volunteers.

Adopted a cat from them but unfortunately had to return him due to a severe incompatibility with our other cat. Constant fighting. They were very understanding and refunded us and took the cat back to try and find a better home for him.

Had to drop off a dog from our neighborhood repeat offender, . Two ladies there, Tracy Lee and Rylegh , were awesome. Listen and noted everything . So pleasant. They know their job, and by their attitudes , love it as well. Easy , peasy process today for me, made by them ???
