What a joke. I called there to confirm a bank draft and it took me 10 phone calls to get through. I forgot to get a picture of the draft from the buyer so i had to call the bank back. The lady told me someone would be on the line waiting for me. 25 phone call attempts later someone picked up. I couldn’t understand her she was extremely rude. I gave her the number of the draft and she verified it. Then i had some questions for her and she hung up.

The service at the bank has always been good. They are busy but always find time if you need them. Online is easy and gives great offers. Calling in does have long waits the odd time but I always get the answers I need. I have been a customer for years and am happy to continue.

CIBC has gone downhill in service , extremely so. They issued me credit cards that I have not applied for, after numerous attempts, they will not deactivate those unused unwanted accounts. They have imposed extra interest grabs on the credit card that I do use. Their phone service is the worst and very rude. Impossible to get anything done. Extremely long wait times to reach someone who doesnt care about you or has no experience.I have stood in line at the branch and seen numerous account holders close accounts and angrily storm out.CIBC sucks!!

I have never had a problem with this bank. They bend over backwards to help me with my business and personal banking.Staff are always friendly and professional. Serena, Candace and Phil have all gone out of their way to assist me. Hopefully Phil stays on as the new boss.

Had to get some stuff done that was difficult and Phil Brown helped me out big time! Gave me advice even though I was snarky at first expecting the usual bank guy but no, helped me and talked me through a difficult process. Thanks Phil you rock!

Hard to get anything done if you use this bank.Not open on Saturdays and terrible weekday hours.Staff constantly trying to make their jobs obsolete by pushing you towards using the atm.CIBC recently raised all their fees by 20% again despite record profits. Seems like fair inflation…or extreme corporate greed…one of the two.Mortgage rates are the highest in Canada so shop around.Branch is clueless when any paperwork relating to CIBC Investors Edge needs addressed. They want you to use their rip off mutual funds.Bank elsewhere.
