Purchased from the dealership recently and couldn't decide if should write this or not but hopefully someone reads this and decides to go somewhere else and save themselves the drama of dealing with these people. They were slimy and changed the price of our vehicle once they new we had a bigger deposit. They also screwed me over when I went back to get my included "propack" and didn't tell me I wasn't going to have a car for the night and I live 1.5 hours away. They provided a loaner vehicle that had a cracked windshield and stank of cigarettes and stale coffee. It felt disgusting to be in. Do not bother with this company if you can go somewhere else.

My husband and I had a great experience buying our Outlander with the team at Cranbrook Mitsubishi. They were professional but at the same time casual and made the experience stress and pressure free. Special thanks goes out to Brian, thank you for the help and professional service!

My experience with purchasing a truck from this dealership was extremely disappointing. Initially, the salesman, Allen, assured me that the detailing of the vehicle was complimentary. I agreed to the sale on the conditions that included fixing a cracked window, washing the engine, cleaning the exterior and engine including the air filter, and switching the tires to summer tires which were included with the truck. Despite these promises, after purchasing the vehicle on a Friday with the expectation it would be ready by 11 am the next day which I was told directly by Allen, I was informed by the finance manager, Kevin, of a $1200 installment fee for detailing, contradicting Allen's assurances. Kevin employed aggressive sales tactics, saying he would not wave the fee and we can scrap the sale immediately the same deal will not be available the next day.
Allen finally contacted me at 1 pm on Saturday to inform me that the vehicle was not ready due to absent detailers and that he would personally complete the work by end of day, although he admitted he couldn't fix the window as agreed during negotiation. However, the truck still wasn't ready by closing time, and since the dealership was closed on Sunday, I couldn't pick it up until Monday. This forced me to take an extra day off work, resulting in $600 in lost wages. There was also inadequate notice to my employer caused by Allen's poor communication which reflected poorly on me.
When Allen refused to rectify the window issue, I requested compensation, but instead of resolving the matter, he had his manager call me and employ more intimidating tactics, essentially dismissing my concerns and suggesting I shouldn't proceed with the purchase if I wasn't satisfied. Neither of them showed any empathy towards my situation.
In summary, be cautious of the dealership's $1200 installment fee, which they falsely claim covers complimentary detailing. They did not offer any compensation for the inconveniences caused. I showed up on Monday morning at 8 am when Kevin and Allen informed me they would be getting into work, upon arriving I was told they do not come into work until around 9. I inspected my vehicle and found the detailing team sitting outside talking rather than working on my vehicle. The detailing team informed me that Allen had initially said to just clean the engine and not the interior leading the detailing team to leave the interior until the last hour before getting informed they have to clean is, resulting in it not getting finished. When I showed up at 8, I walked around to the detailing Center, around 8:20 at this time and the crew was smoking cigarettes. Drinking coffee. I asked them if they start at 8 or 9 and they told me 8 we are just waiting on a couple more people. The window never ended up getting fixed, and they did nothing else to make up for it. When I finally got the vehicle, it stunk inside. This has been my worst experience to date with a dealer ship. Highly recommend going to any other dealership in Cranbrook.

April 6, 2024-sales agent reached out from Mitsubishi Cranbrook because i build a price on a brand new 2024 mitsubishi mirage online
The second call that i got was from the Manager. At frist, he tried to offer me an RVR but i told him that i am specifically looking for a brand new mirage because we have a main car and my plan is to payoff the car soon. He quoted me for a brand new 2024 ES mirage agreeing to the amount of $24,500 all in. During those conversations, I kept on asking for them to send me an email or picture of the quotation because i want to be able to see the numbers in front on me so it can help me decide, never send me any.
After a few hours, manager called again and told me that they will get me a 2023 mirage with only 9k mileage while waiting for the brand new 2024 that i want. I got confused because i thought that the conversation was done when they quoted me for a brand new mirage ES. I am hesitant so i told them i want a brand new car and i am willing to wait for the brand new one. he insisted that there will not be any problem transitioning to the new car if i get the 2023 and so i ask him what am i getting myself in? He assured me that there is no catch for taking this car while waiting for the brand new one. My instinct is telling me not to get the car but because i was promised that everything will be fine so i agreed.
After our conversation, i messaged the salesman and told him about the conversation and if what i did was right(okay is the term i used).he also assured me that its is okay since we are still waiting for the brand new one.
So i paid $5k for the downpayment and then i was told that they will deliver the car to me in Nelson on friday April 12th.
April 12, 2024-the company driver and i met at hub international to sign the paper works and for me to pay for the insurance. As soon as i saw the driver, i asked him if i could see the papers and to my surprise, the car had a collision report on the left side amounting to close to $8k. They did not tell me this important piece of infomation about the car. It was misleading and for them to pressure me to get this car that i don't even want it the first place is so frustrating. From that moment until now i felt betrayed and lied to. I am in so much stress.
After i finished with the insurance, i called the sales agent and complain to him.he said he did not look at the car report, there might have been a lapse on his part and he thought there's no problem with the car. And so i expressed all my frustrations with the car report and the interest rate. He said he will talk to his manager. After our conversation, the manager called me and explained to me. He said he thought i looked at the report and he thought that i am aware of the report. How will i know if they did not even want to show any papers to me? He also said that because he knows what is going on and what my plan is (or their plan for me- to get this 2023 mirage while waiting for the new one) he assured me again that it will not change the trade in value when i get the new one and they will transition me smoothly.
June 5- agent called telling me that the brand new mirage is now available. The balance that they wanted me to pay now is around $27k (keep in mind i made a down payment of $5k). I was furious because i was quoted $24,500 all in for the car that. I have waited for 2months. They also told me i will be getting a black colour and funny thing is that the colour is graphite gray, which i don't care anymore.
I still thank the effort of the sales agent and financial manager to try and work with what was promised to me(i did not get exactly what was told but i think they did their best) but never will i trust them again. so i paid the car in full and did the trade, now i thought it was over but...
Yesterday june 14th, was charged again the loan amount for the 2023 mirage. I messaged the agent.he said it

Got in touch as I'm in the market for a 2024 outlander. Sales person lied about the vehicle, trim levels, availability etc from the very first interaction. Then zero regard for what I am looking for, only trying to sell what they want. Tried to get in touch to discuss with someone else, reception rude and unhelpful also. Will take the sale elsewhere.
Edit for reply: Erick the sales manager called and promised to make it right and that he’d have something by end of day. I ended up calling and calling him for multiple days. Then he got aggressive and argued with me that he did in fact get straight back and I was in the wrong, until I pointed out the numerous messages I had sent to the sales person chasing him. To be clear too, “making it right” was him offering me a vehicle well over msrp “because that’s just all he can offer”. Terrible experience start to finish and have messages to prove it.

I applied for a new SUV on Saturday March 23rd . I had to reach out to them on on March 28th for an update. I was told they where extremely busy but would have an update at the end of the week . As it stands right now I still have not herd anything from anyone at this dealership. It is now April 8th
A phone call goes a long way
Would not recommend
You guys replied and said this is misinformation, can you explain how this is misinformation? I never received a call back from your finance department or the sales person . I reached out 4 different occasions to get answers and never got any reply back

What a great group. This team stayed late in the day to help us out with our new Outlander and we could be happier with their service. They also followed up several time to make sure our experience was 5 star!
