I went in to the mall on Friday Sept 6th.
I had just gotten off a 15 hour shift in the bush. I was due to go to Dinner but ended up having drop my work truck off for service and wasn't able to go home and freshen up.
I decided to just buy something fresh I could change into.... The two young girls working.... We're absolutely amazing! They were kind, compassionate, extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
They made me feel like a million bucks when I looked like I was homeless.
In fact, during the rest of my shopping that evening, I was stalked and followed by staff in almost every other business, given looks of disgust and disdain .....because I was dirty .... Because I work hard.
I got treated like a homeless person trying to steal at every turn. Kind of makes me feel bad for those less fortunate truly. But that's besides the point.
The two young girls working yesterday were so accommodating and kind they helped me without any indication they were trying to close shop. When I realized the other businesses closing and inquired about their close time, they let me know it was just a few minutes away.
I left quickly knowing myself what it's like to close down a shop..
But those two ladies absolutely should get the recognition they deserve.
They are both everything customer service should be. And they are both Wonderful humans.
Good job eclipse. You hired stars!

The one lady there does not understand Covid or personal space. I work as a clothing store retail worker and I never treat anyone with disrespect or try to make them uncomfortable. There’s a respectable way to watch the customers in a store without making customers walk out or uncomfortable to even browse. I have never stolen never or have tried to seem suspicious but yet it is always the same women who stands right behind me literally an inch away from me flipping through clothes that have nothing wrong with them. Or she’s rotating around me in a circles till she thinks it’s right to literally be in my bubble. There’s so much micro aggression in the behaviour I feel like I’m being treated as a theif for simply browsing the store. After walking out today I decided to sit outside the store to watch her behaviour and i watched so many white people get to browse without being followed or treated the way I did. I’m indigenous so you can already guess how discriminating that felt. I have tried to look my best and that I have money BECAUSE I DO and still get treated the same. I rarely shop there anymore for this reasoning. And yes since I have worked in many stores and I’m currently working in the mall. I know what she’s doing her actions speak louder than whatever excuses she’d make if I confronted her and if anyone else had that treatment they would walk right out for being judged for simply being a customer. I have confronted so many employees about their behaviour and every single one of them has never apologized or validated how their actions have caused me to feel so I have given up on even putting myself through that trying to speak up for myself in person. Some better ways to treat customers is to simply ask if they need help, keep a distance, not have an attitude, and maybe there would be less people feeling upset for doing absolutely nothing wrong or suspicious. I’m not saying all the employees do this but I know the one for sure does and every time I come to shop there she’s working.

Worst customer service received ever. Lady who was working on cash counter was super rude. Definitely not going back and does not recommend anyone at all.

Some items are very cute but the quality isn’t great. A lot of items young girls shouldn’t be wearing even though that seems to be their target market.

Was shopping with my daughter for a dress for her school dance and received the best customer service and care while in the store. The girl brought suggestions and helped us come to a great decision on a dress. Thank you for the extra TLC.

Great selection, helpful and friendly staff, and fair pricing. We'd love to have one in Alberta that's a bit closer than Cranbrook, but we're happy to come to this one when we're in town!

Store nicely merchandised, staff is attentive, but... if the company is going to put a sale on, $2.00 off original pricing is pretty sad.
