I have never had a bad experience at the Bank but I think there needs to be a reminder that I am a customer and there should be a bit more hospitality. I pay them 12$ a month to hold my money, so that they can use that has leverage for their investments which makes them money. The staff should appreciate the customers patronage a bit more.

Like anywhere there are good employees and bad employees. I originally had my mortgage through this bank then when it came time to renew it we did an appointment then got ghosted by the guy who was suppose to be working on it for us. Ended up going through mortgage broker again and switched to MCAP. I did have a young lady to help me with rrsp who was great, friendly and helpful. Then there is a middle eastern gentleman who works as a teller. A couple times now I have had him, he's in a hurry, not helpful at all and makes it seems like we are bothering him. Someone on other review said its the only bank in Cranbrook with no line, which is true often, but don't you wonder why. I would switch banks if it wasn't such a hassle.

This used to be a great bank and the service was wonderful when the tellers were easy to deal with and worked hard but now the tellers dont even make eye contact when you walk in. The teller I dealt with stunk like cigarettles and acted like I was a bother to her. I have also dealt with the financial staff. My advisor was Angela who is very difficult to get a hold of or even return my calls. The newer branch management is very disappointing with there response time and the bald gentlement in charge seemed to be more interested in the girlfriend rather then what was happening in the bank. Very unfortunate this is the Scotia Bank in the last 2 plus years. Also I have now changed bank and no longer deal with this institution. Very disappointed!

Worst branch of Scotia bank, I would give 0 stars if I could….. The people are useless and not corresponding with Scotia bank regulations and always refers their clients to the number on the back of their card. They should should be ashamed to call themselves Scotia bank

This is my first bank experience in Canada and I think it will be the only one.I have debit and credit accounts and the staff made the paperwork so easy.Fast and good quality service. Special mention for Stella, the best attitude, smiling all the time.She's always available for us, even if we didn't have an appointmentPeople like her is who makes the difference between costumer service and excellent costumer service.Open on Saturdays until 4 and on Thursday until 5!

Terrible customer service. We walked in with $ to pay off our mortgage and change it into a HELOC for possible future convenience and a several hundreds of $ in investment funds and were told that this branch did not care about our business, since we were new to it and if we "thought other bank will be more welcoming we should go there"...obviously this branch just wishes to scare all customers away from Scotiabank altogether.
