Canadian Tire is a large store with a good selection of items, including commercial grade products and items on sale. It is described as a great place that is easy to find things yourself. The store has plenty of parking. Customer service experiences vary. For returns, staff can be very quick and pleasant, handling even heavy items with efficiency and smiles. In the general retail sections, the staff are reported as helpful and pleasant.
Experiences in the automotive department are mixed. Some customers report extremely positive interactions with specific, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful staff members who provide excellent service, useful recommendations, and go above and beyond. These customers are always happy with the work performed and very happy with the value and prices charged, highly recommending the auto department for vehicle maintenance needs. However, other customers find the automotive side for parts and advice to be a lost cause, stating staff are not very well educated on finding the right products.
Overall, many customers are very satisfied with the service and merchandise, thanking the store for a service well done and quick.

Supervisor Danny is excellent. He's one of the two people who make shopping at the Dawson Creek location a great experience. Everytime I'm looking for an item he asks if I need help. Is knowledgable in all areas of the store. I worked in retail for 35 years and in my opinion he is an excellent candidate to be a store manager.
