Store advertised to be open from 12-5pm on Sundays. Showed up at 1230 after asking them the day prior to hold a game to find the door was locked with no notice. Waited till 1pm, and nobody showed. Several other potential customers were also disappointed to find the store closed. Will order through Amazon as they are reliable.

I ordered a book. I was told it would be within a week.I went to pick it up, and there was told " a glitch in the system."caused a delay of one week.I thought they would have called to let me know,I traveled in from Vancouver. I always prefer supporting small businesses when I can.I just felt it was a bother for the staff to check why the book had not arrived. She stated it was not human error.The glitch was not, but the lack of notification was!This book is a gift for my brother and I have to mail it. Time was important.Anyway, I do have the choice to shop in my Commercial Drive area owner operated book stores galore.A little kindness and empathy goes along way today.The selection of books is good.

I am giving 5 stars because I don’t want to wreck the overall review and I really like the store, has great selection and something for everyone in all kinds of price ranges.However, I’m truly disappointed in the customer service and “small shop feels”. No smile, no offering of help, did not get up for anything and was wearing headphones. When I go to a boutique store I enjoy the small shop, community and personal experience but I didn’t get that here today.

Amazing service! I ordered an Elf Pet for my child but I had to bring her with me to pick it up. They put it in a paper bag and even stapled it shut so she wouldn't find out what's inside. Thank you :)

Albany Books is a great local bookshop for our high school library to order from. Great knowledgeable service, discounts for educators, and free delievery! Books, puzzles, and a great seletion of games! Thanks again to the Albany Book Team!

Great place to buy Books and Boards Games in Tsawwassen. I don't know of any other place locally you can get the selection. Tried to order first off amazon and nothing but headaches and the item didn't even show up. Randomly went to Albany and they had exactly what I wanted and more. Afraid I may end up shopping there more than I should.

Great spot in a plaza with many other regular need businesses. Not just books, gifts and kids toys round out a must check out business!
