Went in to find some baskets. All the baskets were extremely over priced $15-20 each - could find cheaper on Amazon but I like to shop second hand when I can and would love to support our local youth. All thrift stores are becoming unreasonably priced for selling donated goods but that’s a review for another time. Found a reasonably priced basket - WITH A TAG on it for $8. The basket had a couple items inside. The cashier said not to worry she would remove the items and ring me up. As she was doing that a women from the back came out and started saying that basket was not for sale. It had a price tag and was definitely for sale. The women told the cashier not to sell it me and when the cashier again pointed out it has a tag on it she still refused. She told the cashier to rip off the tag and that it was not for sale. It was one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen, I guess the point of this store is not to sell items to make money for local youth programs? Seeing as everything is donated by people with the intention that it gets sold for money to go towards youth programs this seemed absolutely baffling to me. Not to mention the fact that there were dozens of other baskets in this shop that could have easily held the goods initially in the basket. I honestly cannot understand any of the events that unfolded in this situation, I will no longer be supporting this shop and neither should you. They are not interested in supporting the community.

Not sure why this store refused my donations of goods recently purchased, so recently that the Amazon package was still around the new little planters and a decorative container I had bought from London drugs three months ago for 79 dollars and a couch cover used for a month ! All wrapped up in a plastic storage container to keep ! She flat out said NOPE ! Shame on you . I don’t even live in area as I was passing through for work and thought it might be nice to donate good things !! Shame !!!

Awesome little shop with great treasures. 90% of Delta Youth Support Link program funding comes from this thrift store. All of the volunteers are lovely.
