Of seven respondents QMM established top position when I ran a RFQ for my move from Vancouver to Frankfurt (Germany), mainly due to Aidan's professional support and competitive quote (I ended up with a 20 ft container with QMM whereas competitors only offered LCL services). Once the contract was signed, Aidan visited my home, determined all what was needed for the move and it was smooth sailing from there. Irene (the QMM move manager) guided us through all steps required (documentation, insurance, etc). I had special requirements for crating of two totem poles, which was professionally handled. Once the packing team showed up at my home it took them less than 3 hours to pack and move out. No additional fees for packing material etc, the invoice reflected what was agreed. Tracking of the container was available online.
The only hickup I encountered was with QMMs German partner that handled the import to Germany (Hasencamp). Their demands for documentation that I was a Canadian resident were really excessive (think Canadian Passport and >12 month of utility bills is not enough, they requested 12 months of credit card statements, and even more prior to arrival). Considering that my customs experience at arrival in Germany was completely different, this is something that QMM should look at.
I certainly can recommend QMM for international shipping, they handle such a complex task professionally and give you peace of mind.

We recently moved from British Columbia to Arizona and chose QMM to transport all our furniture and belongings. We obtained three separate quotes, and while the pricing was fairly similar across the board, QMM’s fixed-price stood out. It gave us peace of mind knowing there wouldn’t be any surprise charges on moving day!
Communication throughout the process was prompt and straightforward. Any questions we had were answered quickly, and the team provided helpful advice along the way.
The movers were excellent and our items arrived in Arizona about seven days after pickup, just as expected.
Overall, we had a smooth and positive experience with QMM and would happily recommend them to others planning a long-distance move!

Everyone involved in all steps of my move were fantastic to deal with, from the virtual quote all the way to delivery day at the final destination! I was very nervous, as a family member had a nightmare move a few years ago with a different company. It was hard for me to trust someone with all of my precious belongings. They helped me and reassured me along the way, never once made me feel unimportant or brushed me off. The movers were respectful and treated my stuff with care. Everything arrived safely and was exactly the same as when they packed it up. I would definitely recommend and use them again, I just hope I don’t have to move again ever.

QMM moved us from Northern BC to the Interior. The administrative staff were great communicators and so was the driver. The team did a great job packing, everything was protected and nothing got broken – they were very thorough. Loading and unloading, they handled everything with care, they were very respectful.

These guys are the best cross border moving company around.
I hired them for our move from Vancouver, BC to Kirlkand, WA, and again when we returned to Canada from the USA.
Five stars to the moving team for pressing ahead in the face of the Northwest power outage of November 2024. Power in Kirkland was down for two days on the day we had scheduled the move. They moved us anyway using the stairs when the elevator was out of commission.
