I literally never write reviews so I hope someone reads this ? about two weeks ago I could feel symptoms of a bladder infection coming on and went to the pharmacy where a LOVELY lady named Ava helped me out, I was hoping for something otc but she was able to actually have a consult with me to prescribe me antibiotics (I walked in and only waited 10 min) and it was hands down the best medical experience I have ever had. It was really obvious she actually cared about me as a patient as we went through the checklist questions and she full on looked up both of the antibiotic options they had in stock to see which one I would prefer to take/less chance of side effects. I don’t think ANYONE has ever shown this level of interest - not just an in the door out the door experience but actually really trying to help me. Instead of a prescription of pills I was informed of a one time powder antibiotic you mix with water that should cure the infection over the next three days - sounded different but I gave it a go and not only did it work in the exact 3 days promised it tasted deliciously like oranges! Who knew a medical experiment could actually be enjoyable AND tasty? I sure didn’t. 10/10 to Ava working evening shift on August 25th this woman is an absolute GEM and deserves a raise (and we wish all the doctors/nurses/emerg staff out there were as caring and personable as her)!

Just want to say how frustrating the self checkout is. We have to respond to at least 4 prompts before we get to the pay portion. For people who have difficulty with this kind of thing it is very frustrating. I’ll just start using the cashier again

The most lazy, incompetent, and rude bunch of "pharmacists" I have come across. Don't dare ask them to do anything where they have to have a heart or human decency or anything they have to count. They don't know numbers so good..If I could have put zero stars I would have

Unbelievable, horrible, experiences. They call me to say they CAN release my prescription as my doctor wrote I may change pick up day at my discretion. However, a minute later they call me back to state no they can't and because it doesn't SPECIFICALLY STATE EARLY RELEASE THEY ASSUME IT MEANS SOMETHING ELSE. My Doctors nurse just laughed. My doctor thought he did what he needed and i missed my trip. ALSO, it's not like i go once a month to this store, I'm there getting meds every week.HAVE BEEN FOR TWO YEARS now. I have not EVER in my life had as HORRIBLE of an experience, as I have had at this pharmacy. Please, if you're reading this avoid the head ache. I have been brought to tears by these people in more ways than one and the professional ethics a pharmacy should have are SEVERELY LACKING IN IT'S EMPLOYEES. MINUS THE MALE PHARMACY TECHNICIAN, HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN STELLAR . THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE REST OF THE STORES STAFF. THEY ARE WELCOMING AND FRIENDLY. All in all after this latest prescription misread for the literal twentieth time, ( seems to happen with all my prescriptions and my sons) I'm done. I hope this helps at least one person who is feeling singled out by their behaviour. You're NOT ALONE OR THE ONLY ONE.

I have no idea how these guys are rated so poorly. I absolutely adore Ava and Malta. Ava has caught prescription issues so many times from doctors. She is knowledgeable and even pulled me aside one day to ask if something had changed with my health because of what I was being prescribed. Turned out I was prescribed the wrong meds. I will never use a different pharmacy purely because of Ava - unless she moves of course!

I just picked up my prescription and there was suppose to be 10 tablets. I got home and there were 9. Phoned the pharmacy and was told to come back down. Drive back again and was told they were double counted, says DC on the label in pen. Pharmacist told me maybe you dropped one, nothing we can do because we are correct. Blame was totally on me. Maybe they dropped it. People do make mistakes, we’re human. Definitely lost a customer, I’m new to the area and have always dealt with Shoppers at 75th and Scott Road for many years. They are friendly and care about there customers.

Absolutely horrible pharmacy. I’ve been waiting for a prescription for 2 1/2 months and every time I contact them they say “4-5 days” and try to blame it on me. Horrible customer service

Like many others who wrote that their prescriptions weren’t covered at this pharmacy, had the same exact experience and was told that I don’t have coverage when I absolutely do. Turns out my prescription was covered after staff re-ran it and told me it wasn’t entered in correctly in their system. I was initially told that they don’t have my MSP number but when I showed up with my confirmation coverage letter they stated that they never told me that. Very odd. Found the staff to be extremely rude, insensitive and condescending, especially Nathen. Will definitely not be returning here. Good thing another pharmacy just opened across the street!

I've been a loyal customer for 19 years, but I'm now switching to either Save-On-Foods or London Drugs for my pharmaceutical care due to the lack of customer service I've experienced recently. My son has had to use an epipen eight times due to severe nut allergies, but when I tried to get a refill for an epipen so that he could have a spare one for his trip, they refused to provide it despite the fact that it was a part of his initial prescription. They did not give me a courtesy call, but only told me of the cancellation when I drove back to the store after an hour of dropping off my prescription. All three pharmacists I spoke with offered no apology or suggestion for recourse. Instead, they glared at me as if I was wasting their time. I realize the pandemic has placed a strain on pharmacists, but customers are people too, who want to have a trusting and caring relationship with their healthcare providers.

Pharmacy is awful, the workers are never attending to customers and they always lack the most important medication even when you call them 3 times requesting your prescription, which is awful because medication is so important for so many people I am beyond upset

We are new to the neighbourhood and had used Shoppers in White Rock for the last 10 years for prescriptions so assuming they were all the same level of professionalism and courtesy had my doctor's office fax my refill to Tsawwassen town centre location. Called to have it filled, couldn't find it. Call the doc office again to refax checking fax number and location again, again they couldn't find it. Tried the 3rd time, now we are going on 2 weeks and it's getting serious, finally someone found all 3 faxes filed under someone else's profile. Okay. Mistakes happen. Frustrating but not the end of the world so I asked to have it filled. When I arrive the young man serving me was curt, verging on rude, non compassionate, no eye contact and with zero customer service skills whatsoever. No apologies, no sense of humour and certainly not a people person. He spoke so fast I could barely understand him. A little bit of personality and kindness and all would have been fine instead I left very unhappy and vowing to never go back. Time to get the manager to work on her staff's interpersonal skills and perhaps some care and attention to detail when it comes to peoples personal health files and prescriptions.

Every single time I have gotten a prescription filled at this pharmacy I have experienced rudeness from the pharmacy staff. There is always some issue. I went in once to pick up blood testing lancets and was told I "should call ahead", when they were literally sitting on the shelf immediately behind him. Twice I have been told that my plan did not cover some part of my prescription that it in fact did. After being told that I would have to pay I drove to London Drugs in Ladner and had my prescription filled in 5 minutes while I waited and DID NOT PAY ANYTHING since it was 100% covered. The staff seem determined to be a hindrance in every way. Despite this being the closest pharmacy to my house I will not get my prescriptions filled here again. I have had nothing but annoying experiences. My wife has experienced similar treatment and had also chosen to go elsewhere. I recommend going literally anywhere else for your prescriptions.

James at the pharmacy is seriously the kindest one there. He works so fast, is cheerful and overall provides the best customer service. The department receives so many prescriptions and are so busy, but this is literally the quickest Shoppers I know. Others have me wait 2+ days. Thank you guys so much!
