A local and Family owned business that gets the job done right, quick, and for a normal price these days . My drive shaft broke 5 minutes before the shop closed late on a Saturday. Many thanks to Mitchell for taking my “stress” phone call and booking me in first thing Monday Morning . My vehicle was back on the road by noon Monday .
The bottom line . The reason why I’ll come back again for vehicle repairs, is because of the outstanding service. Just about any shop can fix your vehicle, but Dean, Parker, Mitchell, and all the crew went over and above to help me out .

My car is honda civic.I seldom drive.I sent the car to shortstop on September 7, 2022. for change the clutch. After the clutch was repaired, the shift operation of the manual transmission became difficult. Because the car was parked all the time, it was useless, and I didn't have time to take care of the car.
Later, I met a mechanic, and I told him: I seldom use a car, and I only drive more than 2,000 kilometers a year. Before changing the clutch, the manual transmission has never broken down, never had any problems, manual gear shifting has always been smooth，and I don't know why Shopstop after changing the clutch for me, the manual gear operation suddenly became very difficult.
The mechanic checked my car and told me: the transmission of the car has no oil, Because there is no oil, the manual gear shifting operation of your car will of course suddenly become very difficult.He said he checked the transmission of my car，there is no oil leakage, and there is no oil leakage before.
This surprised me. I only changed the clutch，why is there no oil in the transmission? There is no oil in the transmission, so it is not only difficult to manually shift gears，the transmission is also very worn, and it is easy for the whole transmission to break down.Fortunately, the mileage of the car is not much. The mechanic told me to take it back to the Shopstore for repair as soon as possible.
I listened and did it，Shortstop told me to put the car down and told me to go back and pick it up the next day. I asked them about the car, and they said they had added a little transmission oil.There is nothing wrong with the car.
After I got my car back, I took a road test drive and found that the car was not without problems，and the problem is more serious, manual gear shifting is more difficult.I asked them: you said there was no problem, why is the situation worse now? they told me to take the car back, they will help me check and repair the transmission.
My car was left in my home for one night, and I found that there was no oil leak in the transmission before, but now it is leaking.
I told my mechanic about this, and my mechanic called me,don't send it to the Shortstore for repair now, send the car to another garage for repair, this Shortstop is really bad-hearted, in fact, customer went to change the clutch, and you let go of the oil in their transmission, this is a big mistake.We regard you as an unintentional mistake, so you should make amends as soon as possible,fix the car.
When I picked up the car, you said it was all right.I told you the problem after my test run, and you said you wanted to check and repair the transmission.
Deliberately damaging the customer's car, Shortstop is a shop without professional ethics, a shop against conscience, and a shop with a bad heart.
Shortstop Auto Service should be punished.

I had a flat tire on a Nissan Kicks. First they tried to patch but the roofing nail had caused too much damage. They promptly ordered a new tire at an amazing cost. I left and came back to get the new tire. All within four hours. The new owners have a lot of experience. Great customer service and fairly priced.

We recently had our collector vehicle at the Tsawwassen Short Stop for some challenging work to the fuel system. Having discussed this work with several other shops, all of which said that they could not handle the work, Short Stop not only accepted the work, but took on the challenge. The work took some time, due to the rarity of the car and difficulty in obtaining parts, but the Dodd family and their techs soldiered on diligently. They kept us updated thru frequent phone calls and invitations to visit their shop to see the progress and to explain it thoroughly. When the job was completed, the entire team was enthused and excited to see, and hear, the car go out on its test drive. The owners have since followed up with us to ensure our satisfaction.
While you may think the cost may have been exorbitant, it wasn’t. In fact our guess on the cost was very close to the actual number!
We would not hesitate to recommend Tsawwassen Short Stop to anyone. Just give them the opportunity and I’m sure your experience will be similar to ours.

Im a broke college student and These guys saved my butt, they are super I was heading down to twassen from Vancouver, and had a really bad hole in my tire and these guys patched it and didn't overcharge, I'm absolutely surprised at how this bad situation was turned around into a great experience

Dean and his employees were amazing and super helpful. They fit us in last min on a Friday coming of the ferry and we were extremely greatful. We highly recommend Shortstop, for their honesty and caring service.

Took my vehicle in to get checked out today. They wanted to have a bay open for it to go on the hoist. After getting my car back, I noticed that my bumper received a huge scuff on the bumper. Traded paint with their wall that matched the same colour. They didn't take accountability due to other scraps I have on my off road suv. Wasn't there when I dropped it off. I would post a zero star if I could.

I personally would highly recommend making ShortStop Tsawwassen your local vehicle service centre. The owners Dean Dodd, wife Tracey and sons make sure you get personal attention from the minute you arrive at their business. Their knowledge is second to none and they give 5 star service.
