“I went to
Thrifty foods tssawwassen today in the evening. The bakery staff is amazing. A young lady, her name was Muskan is such a helpful person I’ve met in there. She was so quick to help. I got a cake for my friends birthday, she made little hearts on it. Which were definitely so adorable and cute. Also, I was looking for the English
Muffins she walked with me and found some for me. So
Polite and kind person. The service was amazing. Would definitely recommend. ???”
“Kuo Hua Supermarket in Richmond is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to explore Taiwanese products. The variety here is impressive, from frozen foods to kitchenware, and the drink selection is diverse and satisfying. The snack aisle is a treat, offering a great range of choices that are hard to find elsewhere. I love how they bring in seasonal items like mooncakes, which adds a festive touch to the shopping experience. The staff are always helpful and make you feel welcome. Plus, there's plenty of parking available, making it a convenient stop. Whether you're stocking up on essentials or just browsing, Kuo Hua is definitely worth a visit!”

“This is my go to market for fruits and vegetables and also fresh cut flowers. Prices are very reasonable, produce is fresh or at a discount. Discounted items are still in good condition. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It is a nice little family run store that is very clean and you can tell the owners take pride in their store. The fresh cut flowers are also in very good condition and last a long time! I love this place.”
“It's the second time I ask one of the employees where something is and they don't know, that's ok I know they've got thousands of products but they didn't really seem to care”

“The soy sauce chicken was surprisingly juicy with nice sweet and salty soy sauce flavour. Goes very well with white rice and boiled veggies for an easy but tasty balanced supper. They also have tasty roast pork with very crispy skin.”
“Not the cleanest supermarket, but it's convenient, has free parking and has plenty of Asian products to choose from: Chinese, Filipino, Malay, Indonesian, etc.”

“I've been shopping here for 15 years and it's my go-to place for fresh Asian vegetables and oranges. Their produce is way cheaper than anywhere else in the neighbourhood. It's not the highest quality produce and depending on which day of the week you go shopping, you might have to do a bit of picking to get the good ones. Still, I like coming here because the staff are quite friendly and it's a nice and quick in/out shopping experience.”
“Best place for an international student to shop groceries in Vancouver. I do not have to worry about my grocery bill because of this shop. Now they have cleaned the place a lot and it is in a great condition than before.”
“Supermarket 2000 @ Richmond BC, very convenient location by bus or skytrain. Outside Free parkings. Fresh meat + produce + wide selection of HK food products but a little bit pricey.”

“Fast food is cheap and the portions are generous, three dishes are 10.99
It’s the most authentic local Sanxian I’ve ever had in Vancouver! The pork slices also taste authentic, and you can also order the pot-wrapped pork a la carte.
Hometown flavor, so delicious that you’ll cry?”

“I was looking for the cross street of Mother India yesterday so was on Google to look it up and was very surprised they have such a low rating. Many of my friends and I are loyal customers of this place. We have been here countless times and the owner is nothing but pleasant every single time.In fact, I look forward to shopping here because he is always so genuine, helpful and nice.Everything is stacked neatly so I am shocked to read some of the reviews that it is a messy place to shop at.For many of us, this is the most comprehensive puja shop in Vancouver. Highly recommend it!”
“I'm writing this review to thank Lauren from bakery!?
He always goes above and beyond whenever I need help! Professional, positive and caring! I'm really appreciative!!!???”
“Good neighborhood grocery store. We come here for asian vegetables, fruits, and their BBQ pork! Good prices and fresh vege. There's a parking lot from Kingsway.”
“Expensive side, for some reason they change products or placement very frequently so it's hard to get the same thing consistently, good choice of product and mix”
“I've always enjoyed shopping at this store. The only thing that bothers me is that all the oils are in the aisle next to the windows and get direct Sunlight (when we actually have Sunlight). Oils and dressings and such should not be exposed to direct Sunlight. It says so on each bottle. The store is clean and the staff are very friendly.”
“Wow whole sale price I bought 4 large wal mart bags full of veggies and fruits and I spend 60$ cash if I went to wal mart it would have cost me more than $100 People you have to go here you get your money worth fresh farm grown fruits .”
“Everything is fine, but those self checkouts are constantly thinking you're trying to steal something. It's enough to make a person shop elsewhere. Or steal something.”
“This store has an incredible variety of hard to find products. If you are an adventurous cook, check out the variety. Way better than SaveOn or Fresco. My new fav”
