“The customer is always right” “100% customer satisfaction”If you believe in either of these phrase’s, you will probably want to stay away from Trail and shop elsewhere. (WalMart, CDN Tire, Best Buy)I didn’t research my recent fridge purchase. I rushed it, as a single parent of 2, I felt I needed to get a fridge quick! I figured hey, it’s a fridge, it’s modern, it should work for me. It was actually stressful. If a washer/ dryer goes, you go to a laundromat. Dishwasher goes, you hand wash for a bit. A fridge goes, no other real options, you need a fridge! No matter how I configured it, I could only use 1 shelf! This didn’t work for me, and I was not happy. 36 hours later, I requested to upgrade to a more expensive fridge, pay the delivery/ return fees, but under no circumstances can an appliance be returned to Trail. This was also a brand new item, not scratch/ dent. I was told it was “used”. Yup, 36 hours used. Most people do buy fridges to use them.I suggest if you want to deal with Trail, thoroughly research your purchase. Most importantly make sure you read up on all their policies, this is key. In hindsight, I realize I would have been way better off buying my fridge from a kid in a blue shirt, or some guy in an orange apron, I would have gotten better service. Yes, I screwed up. I let my family and myself down. I now have a $1300 daily reminder of my mistake! Oh well, it works, but I am in no way happy or satisfied. Buyer Beware at Trail. I give 1 star as the staff were actually very nice.

Absolutely completely 100% unhappy!! My husband and I bought 3 appliances from this location and unfortunately for us we were sold some absolute garbage! We bought a matching Samsung washer and dryer front loader pair off the scratch and dent floor. Thinking that we got a great deal on new appliances with a little paint scratched on the top, were we ever wrong!First of all the dryer will only dry on times dry and not on any of the fancy settings. And the washer sounds like it is a high powered jet taking off on a run way!!Fun facts and buyer beware: you buy from the scratch and dent section you CAN NOT bring back the appliance and you have to go through the warranty!! I had to wait out the long weekend and called in on the Tuesday (we bought on Saturday of a long weekend) I have been emailing back and forth with custom care and I have been given a date of March 1 to get a person over to have a look. I bought them on Feb 17th. So now I’ve gotta miss a day of work in order to be home for the repair person because they can only give me a date and not a time frame!! These washer and dryer pair were $2000 so not like they were cheap either!Buyer beware!!!!!!

I bought a whole suite of appliances from Trail back in May 2023 spending $12,500 with them. Upon delivery of the Fisher & Paykel fridge it immediately was making a loud gurgling/grinding noise 24/7. I contacted Brian, the salesperson who sold the fridge, to see if anything could be done and was told that since I now had the fridge they couldn't help me and that I had to go through warranty.I immediately did but Fisher & Paykel won't do anything because they apparently just designed a fridge that never stops making this noise (keep in mind I did my due diligence and researched fridges for which one is the quietest and knew people with very quiet F&P models). According to a fridge tech, they have changed the refrigerant from R-134 to 600a and use a cheap part that results in this noise. This information about refrigerant type is no where on any website. (if you're looking for it, it's typically somewhere inside the fridge where you'd find the serial number)After 6 months of trying to deal with Fisher & Paykel, I sent in feedback about my purchase indicating my frustration with the product they sold me. I was contacted and was told that they couldn't do anything but if I had contacted them sooner they could have done something, ignoring the fact that I had contacted them almost immediately after getting the fridge. It's a Catch-22. We won't help you when you contact us initially, but when you contact us later we'll tell you that we only could have helped earlier.So now I have a $5000 Fisher & Paykel fridge, a brand I bought specifically because it was touted as the quietest fridge, that never stops making a gurgling/grinding noise and I can't sit in my living space without a loud white noise machine on and that still doesn't mask the sound.Be wary of a) buying from Trail Appliances who is apparently happy selling expensive, poorly designed appliances and b) buying a 600a refrigerant model.

I had no clue that this place was hidden out on Annacis Island but I sure am glad my friend told me about it. My refrigerator broke Wednesday night. I showed up here on Thursday morning where Brian helped me out like a true professional. My new fridge was set up and in my home by Friday afternoon. You can't expect better service than this. Thank you!!!

Siti was a pleasure to work with today! He was professional, knowledgeable, and made sure I had all the information I needed to make the right choice for myself. Siti was able to assist in finding me a matching appliance set, and when the one piece turned out to be discontinued, he was able to offer a newer model at a comparable price. Overall, a much better experience shopping at the outlet than the Trail Appliances retail store I had also visited. Thanks again for your help, Siti!
