Mount Tzouhalem Kaspa Rd Trailhead offers a stellar network of trails excellent for mountain biking and hiking, with a great variety from fast and flowy to technical climbing. There is easy free parking, with signs and maps. The trails lead to an awesome, peaceful, and serene view looking over Duncan and the Cowichan Bay, especially from the summit. Some paths, like the cross path, can be difficult with fallen trees and get very muddy, featuring extreme cliffs and hills. It is important to take the right trail for lookout points. The wild flowers are spectacular in March and April. There are outhouse toilets, and the gates are locked at 5pm.

Great MTB trail system. Will be back.
Parking: Apparently they are serious about locking the gates at 5pm. We were OK but a reminder to read the signs.
