“Ive now been to duncan pawn a few times and felt i could finally leave a fair review.

The ladies that work the desk tuesday through Saturday i beleive, are really friendly, very fair and a far cry from some of the ego driven pawnshop owners ive dealt with in other cities ive lived in.

They were fair with looking up online prices of items i wanted to sell and reaching a value that made sure everyone was happy and no one was losing their shirt.

I get the feeling a lot of the bad reviews on here are circumstantial, or are from people who misunderstand what a pawnshop is and what you will get. If you want top dollar, sell it yourself on marketplace, but be ready to deal with everything that goes along with that.

Anyways, Ill be back for sure. Great owners, great inventory, very fair and honest people every time i went there. I wish them the best.

To others: if youve got something pretty cool you want to get rid of, maybe consider taking it here before donating it to a for-profit thrift store like VV. Maybe you make a couple bucks, and it keeps money flowing through the local small business rather than into some big corporate enterprise.”
