I had a very disappointing experience at this petrol station last night. I went there around midnight to buy a Coke and some medicine. Despite waiting for about 20 minutes and knocking on the small window, the employee inside did not respond. During this time, I saw at least five other customers leave because they couldn't get service either.
When the employee finally came to the window, I mentioned that several customers had already left. He responded rudely, saying, "So what can I do? I am busy doing something." However, it was quite clear from his appearance that he had just woken up from a nap. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
This isn't the first time I've experienced poor service here. This has happened four to five times, with no notice or sign indicating that the employee is busy or unavailable. I hope the management takes this seriously and ensures better service in the future.!!!!!!!

Card was declined at pump, but money was taken from account. Left me stranded because ThEy HaVe To WaIT 25hrs FoR It To ClEaR. Thanks for nothing Shell. GFYS. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN! Also advising anyone who will listen to not use. Already caused 1 guy to put cap on and leave.

Over night guy hiding in back. I got there at just before 2 and 4 people that had been waiting had finally gave up and left. I waited a few minutes and gave up aswell. This guy usally ignores the door and talks on his blue tooth instead. The other guy who works there at night is always available. You should move this guy off nights. Oh well your loss of business

I often stop here when I am heading to the ferry as its easy to get into when heading towards Nanaimo. Its always been clean when I have run in to pay cash and the staff has been pleasant. The pump area has also always been clean and the window wash stations have always had water/cleaning products in them (always nice).

My husband goes to fill up and the lady was rude. Seriously in this day and age we only want ppl with good customer service so annoying…people it doesn’t cost anything to be nice especially customer service… we gas up there frequently and I’m so not impressed… just so you know we’re going to another gas station no more shell until My husband gets an apology!
