Customer service at the pharmacy is ridiculous. 10 min waiting for someone to say the pharmacist is a little tied up right now and might serve me shortly. One customer aside from me. Trying to get her name changed. Need to start learning how to prioritize

Over it. Was my pharmacy for many years but lately (past year or so) they rarely get prescriptions done on time, some staff is very rude, the online thing never syncs with what they have and haven’t filled, I could go on. Will be moving my prescriptions elsewhere as they come up for renewal.

Worst pharmacy staff in town (minus a few). Received a text that my prescription was ready, went to pick it up and it wasn't. The young girl paced around, rolled her eyes and then slammed it on the counter telling me it wasn't supposed to be picked up until the next day - showed her my text (received the day prior) and she just demanded payment.Next time I went in had a lovely young man (wish I got his name), he is one of the few good ones.Went back today to pick up, after receiving a text that it was ready, the pharmacist advised he would not be filling it as I was rude the last time I was in (he was not even there). Didn't come to the counter to talk to me, yelled it from behind his desk and the back of the store in front of numerous people - pretty sure that breaches some sort of ethical/privacy legislation. Will not be returning, and filing a formal complaint with the College of Pharmacists about this pharmacy, and certain pharmacist.

Shoppers hours say that they’re open till 7 (posted on the door). I just tried to go in now and the doors are locked. They’re closed.

Do. Not. Come. Here if you want prescriptions fully filled and done on time. I've given you guys far too many chances and every single time it's the same damn thing. Either its a lost prescription or they just completely forgot to even do it so I have to sit around for 45 minutes while the staff scrambles to get it done. More often than not they can't fill the whole order either so I have to come back a few days later to play the same game again. No more. I'm completely done with you guys, I'll go elsewhere from now on.

100% would not recommend Shoppers in Duncan as a Pharmacy.Store is clean and prepackaged items when found are convenient.Multiple calls / follow-ups are required to get important prescriptions or refills available. Staff state that they run days behind in dispensing prescriptions, and they are lacking drugs needed. Hours for the pharmacy have already been greatly reduced so if you're still unable to keep up add proper staff levels or stop being a pharmacy.

I go to this store often. Everything is what it is for this National type chain. However the store hours and signage have been out of whack for 3 years now. When do "temporary" store hours become permanent? I would say just change your signage it has been years now. You aren't open the hours on the door an wont be. The tattered piece of paper with scotch tape on the door is just ghetto. Shoppers / Superstore can afford to change the signage to properly reflect the hours. ** Edit with Pics ** So... I guess my review was read and they laminated the "temporary hours" (3 years isn't temporary by the way) but they didn't remove any other signage or hours. Seriously what would it cost for a multi billion dollar company to change the signage in the store to reflect a permanent change?

I had a bad treatment and service from photo section staff despite the fact that I paid 195 Canadian dollars to get the photos

What a terrible experience. I wandered around the store looking for someone to ask about passport photos; no one was available. Finally lined up at the one cash register that was open, when I got there, the young fellow turned to a young woman at the end of the counter and said " She wants another one". This clearly annoyed the girl who said " I just turned the machine off. "Suffice it to say, all downhill from there. Rude and uncommunicative.I will NOT be shopping there again.

The weekly flyer shows an item on sale for Saturday and Sunday ONLY. Upon being at the store when it opens the shelve is empty. This has happened before. Don't believe everything you see in the flyer. The item was Ensure brand replacement shakes.

Standing at the door sign clearly says store opens at 0800. It’s 0830 doors are locked. Someone inside yells that they open at 0900. I question the sign. The answer is they have not changed it yet. Great excuse for poor customer service.

September 2, 2022After my 1:15 pm phone appointment with my GP, my prescription was faxed into Shoppers Drug Mart Duncan, BC. My GP had me pause on the phone while he made sure the request was sent to Shoppers Drug Mart , Duncan, BC. At 3:26 pm I called the Shoppers Drug mart to confirm if my prescription was received and prepared as I needed to take the medication. The lady advised there was nothing received from my Dr., and to call him and confirm it. Which I did. They resent the request. I called Shoppers Drug Mart back and spoke with a man this time, who was very impatient with my conversation and interrupted me while I was trying to explain my story, at which I requested he let me finish speaking before being interrupted. Once I finished my explanation, he checked their incoming prescriptions and advise it had been received, this was at about 3:40 pm, and he advised they could have this ready for me for 4:30 pm which I advised I would let my husband know as he was picking it up for me, thank you , good bye.Upon my husband arriving at Shoppers Drug Mart, they searched and searched for the prescription. Once the pharmacy helper found it he handed it to the pharmacist for review. At which time the pharmacist advised the helper it was done incorrectly and they would have to redo it. They didn’t advise my husband of that at first, they just left him waiting. My husband asked them “did they loose it” at that time the pharmacist advised my husband to “chill”. My husband advised them that we were told the prescription would be ready at 4:30 pm. What was the problem. They got their backs up and advised that they just received the prescription from the Dr and we were lucky they were doing it. At which my husband advised, if it was an issue if they could not get it done right we could take it to another store. And at that point the pharmacist became very argumentative and instructed the helper to stop the order and for us to take it to another store. Finally after banter back and forth they completed the prescription and we paid for the order. At that time my husband was instructed by the pharmacist we were not allowed in the store any more.We have been lifelong customers at Shoppers. This is not our first unfriendly incident at the pharmacy. This is indeed the last. As your 2.4 star rating reflects, we are not the only unsatisfied customers.Good bye Shoppers Drug Mart.Cindy & Jim Sarpalius
