canada post Falkland, since I moved here, 8 years ago, not once has the Falkland Post Office actually delivered my parcels. I have complained several times, using the proper method, a ridiculous procedure, called a "service ticket" of no help whatsoever, don't waste your time. I did once get a phone call, explaining I am not eligible for parcel delivery, because I live more than 500 meters from the mail box. that is the wrong information, it is 500 meters from the direction of travel. I am well within that 500 meters. So yes, the service is pathetic. And has been for years. that I am aware of.

The postmaster here is very good at her job and doesn't deserve the negative reviews. Just be polite and considerate to her and she will be polite and considerate back. Also respect that she is a government employee and has to follow the rules.

Without fail everytime we have had to use the post office area. We have had deal with the grouchy post office women. If the crotchety attitude wasn't enough, they become irritable when you ask questions? I guess apparently we all should be post office master.
