“Thankful. Called day-before from our campsite with an electrical issue on our '98 van: the engine was occasionally cutting out while driving, yet could be restarted immediately. Came in the next morning on our way home. They were honest and straightforward about the timeline and potential issue and did an on-the-spot scan of our vehicle. This did not reveal anything. They were very kind in that they did not charge us for the scan, and took time to chat with us about what could be causing the problem. We went on our way. A bit later, with the knowledge that nothing major was wrong, it dawned on us that it could be a wiring short(load-based failure) in the cigarette lighter that we were using to charge phones and run a small fan. We stopped using the cigarette lighter and had no further problems. Thanks to their scan, we felt okay to continue on our way and safely reached home from our trip (8 hours later). Thank you Backyard Mechanical!”
