My husband and I were visiting from the lower mainland staying at the Galiano Spa and Resort we had a kitchen so thought we need a few groceries. We have never been to Galiano Island so ended up at Daystar Market. ❤ the store is like Famous Foods in Vancouver. Good food good selection a little pricey but we're on the Island lol got my favorite Avalon Dairy milk. 👍💜

Great spot on Galiano for your groceries. We camped out at Montague and needed some dinner items to cook for our bike trip. Coming to the market was such a gem and had all the provisions we needed. Great spot, kind people, and fully stocked!

Hit up the market for some fresh kale, chocolate, gummies, and one other thing.Pleasantly surprised by the bountiful selection. And impressed by the assortment of local options!Also there were chickens next door. Very nice.

Lovely market with a super cute cafe/ used bookstore attached to it (only open on fridays and sats I believe) a variety of vegan products which is nice! and produce.

Great place to buy the basic grocery items. As a tourist, I mostly just bought snacks and pop from here; they have a good variety of chips and other alternatives. The staff are very nice here and willing to help find what you need. They have all the essentials if you ever forgot to pack something.
