The Blackfish Liquor Store is a great privately owned store with a great selection in wines, liquors, and beers. It has lots of varieties and a delicately curated selection of craft spirits and beer, including an absolutely stunning gluten free beer section described as utopia. They often have big sales for competitive prices. Staff can be very friendly and helpful, though service can be inconsistent. The attached patio is dog friendly and good for the whole family, offering a menu with some good options like fish and chips with good flavour, crispy fries, and pulled pork. Food can sometimes be a bit dry or involve a wait when the kitchen is busy, but the experience is often delightful and bearable in nice weather. It is a place that makes customers want to browse and return again.

Awesome selection of local craft beer and the cold beer bin is cool. My wife found craft ciders she likes too. Disregard reviews about grumpy guy. Don’t miss out on shopping here because of that!
