About Cedar Lake Campground
Cedar Lake Campground is a quiet and nice place to rest, close to a small, beautiful lake. It is a back water, no frills camping area at its best. The spot features a small nice beach, a platform, and a fun pontoon to dive off. There is a beautiful pier to walk along or fish from. The lake is good for swimming, noted as being very warm, and visitors can enjoy a walk or bike ride on the easy single-track around it. The campsite operates on a first come, first serve basis only, with a checkout time of 12 o'clock. Arriving just after noon generally guarantees a spot. The sites are nestled among lots of nice trees, with some offering more privacy. There are no showers or regular washrooms, only the parks Canada washroom facilities. The main downsides are the very rough dirt access road with a tiny one-way bridge, big potholes within the campsite, and an extreme mosquito population. Despite these challenges, it is considered a fantastic and amazing place to spend a day or camp, with the right price for those who prefer this style over RV parks.

It is the perfect place if you want to rest, be close to the small lake and be in a quiet and nice campground.
You have also a small nice beach and a platform.
There is no shower or regular washroom, but you have the parks Canadá washroom.

Beautiful lake area just down the road from the Kicking Horse Resort. Plenty of parking and tables for picnics. The pier is beautiful to walk along or fish from. We swam in the lake and took a walk around it. Beautiful spot.

This campsite was very good. But being big spray! And a mosquito net. There is a ton of mosquitos which is a shame but still everything else is very good. First come first serve only and check out is 12 o’clock so make sure you arrive just after 12 o’clock and your guaranteed a spot
