People on here have no idea what a real hospital wait is. They are all entitled and spoiled. Try waiting a 8-24 hours at a busy hospital. You are seen based on how critically injured at vgh or smh in the emergency. If you come in sick sit down and get comfy. This small hospital is doing it's best with what it has available. They need staff nurses doctors but I'm the only way to dig out is if the community volunteers. Instead of complaining help out. Unfortunately everyone wants everything for free on their terms. I think they are doing a great job considering.

My significant other has had many admissions to KDH over the last few years. He has always been treated with respect and dignity. The staff are so helpful and we are so lucky to have these caring individuals working in our community!

Absolutely terrible... Receptionist or patient coordinator what ever you want to call this person has absolutely no clue what is going on. No concept of "time sensitive" and what's the point of calling ahead to ensure time sensitive sample gets received by hospital only to be told to sit and wait. I hope my sample produces inconclusive results because of this hospital's lack of professionalism. What a joke...

Lab did my blood work and everything seemed fine. Took them 3 weeks to send my results to my attending physician though and only 1 out of the 4 results were actually sent to her. Her office tried calling and getting full results sent to her and all they did was fax the same one as before, they didn't read or try to fix what they did the first time, just copied and pasted. I tried calling the lab and got a rude response of "we all answer the phones here and she cant speak for everyone." I asked if she could ask her coworkers and she said no she wouldn't. I said ok and she hung up. Its been a pain just trying to get some results from people who are just there to make a pay cheque it seems.

Waited 6 hours in pain. No one even checked on me once. However the staff sure have amazing chats for hours.And they say they are short staff. Maybe stop talking about your week and holidays, and do your job. Also was 5 people in emergency so not busy,

One of the worst hospitals on the planet.This place is a total nightmare. No reception, can’t speak to loved ones on weekends or holidays. The hack doctors in this hospital are an absolute joke. The ones I’ve encountered are operating in a neglectful, and ghost like capacity. You’ll heal faster anywhere but here.

With the nursing shortage, Boundary hospital has become an empty shell of a care facility. My friend's 90 year old father has severe problems with urinary blockage and bleeding due to past prostate cancer treatments, and has been admitted daily for the past 3, then sent home! Between several exploratory surgeries in Trail, and his now daily trips to emergency without any long lasting relief, this poor man (and his whole family) is suffering way beyond their limits. They are completely exhausted, as are the limited staff there trying to do their best. Our health care system is in sad decline, with no real help to be offered long term. All I know is things MUST change, or there is no way this hospital is going to dig itself out of the rubble (of bad reviews, like this one).
