??? Honestly the man behind the counter is a miserable, miserable person and it's to the point it reflects into his business. He shouldn't be in customer service, let alone keep the doors open if he can't properly answer some BASIC questions from his buyers, who are the ones keeping it around. Could fake a smile or greet as they enter. That's too much work. I and many others think it's time to shut down and make room for a new opportunity to grow here - I'll also add that the hours are never consistent either or accurate to Google! Feels like another place open when he feels like it and that's about it. Don't support this place. Go to Agassiz, or further out where you can buy supplies for even cheaper! Have someone actually appreciative of your support and business unlike Bead Different.

Dreadful customer service, didn't have a word spoken to me in my 10 minutes browsing and buying in the store, not even when paying. Atleast tell me the total price, disgraceful customer service some of the worst of anywhere I've been.

Really lovely shop. There is a great selection of stone and glass beads, findings, tools, and finished jewelry. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable.

The stay in Hope last week provided daughter and I our first look at the shop's relocation from 3'rd Avenue to Wallace Street. Though closed our first day in town, it was open the next day, and afforded the two of us with a quality look around within the new facility. We had the opportunity to see the variety of crafts being offered at the time. And at the same time, have some friendly and informative chats with the owner, and artist of the wonderful wood carvings, and other handcrafts (including some very lovely jewellery, painted stones, and the like) offered for sale there. During our walkabout within the shop, a small balck bear wood carving in the studio displaying the various carvings, caught daughter's eyes. She saw it, and could not get her attention away from it. We walked about, but it was 'the' piece she came back to, and decided it had to go home with her. I could not disagree with her decision -- I liked the piece very much as well. The artist agreed to sign it, and pose for a photo with her (I attempted to capture the moment, and a couple of additional photos of her and bear when back to the motel). 'Beadifferent' was a fun and productive stop for us. We have always enjoyed getting to this fine shop, and seeing the crafts, and all the "stuff & such" for crafts, including the great variety of beads, accessories, and etc. And seeing them displayed in the new shop was a additional treat.

Very helpful. I didn't have a clue about beading of any kind but needed some beads for another project, Randy the owner was very helpful and by the time I left I knew what I was doing. Thanks for all the help. It was very much appreciated. So many colors and choice. Love this store

The proprietor is very helpful and knowledgeable. My husband was looking for a necklace or chain, and the proprietor put everything together for him in minutes, just for the material costs.
