Nice selection of products, but it brings down the shopping experience when you hear the staff talking about you in the microphones discussing what section you’re in, what you’re carrying etc, to see them causally watching to see if your stealing. I get it, theft happens, but it makes me more likely to avoid spending my money there. I’ll seek out a locally owned shop for my outdoor apparel. Spending ones hard earned money should be an enjoyable and leisurely experience, I don’t feel that here.

Do not order from here. Their is a high chance you will never receive your item. They said the moment they sent the item it’s not their problem anymore. This place is a joke.

The staff here is amazing , Marcus was able to handle 4 customers on the shoe floor at one time. Paying attention to each of thier needs and wants , I was very impressed as most stores don't work that hard to make thier customers happy. I will be returning here for my gear that I may need in the future.

Extremely rude and unhelpful staff. Asked the lady on the floor for some help with what I was looking for, (it was a challenge to get her to acknowledge me in the first place) then she very carelessly points out to the general area of where it might be and turns around and walks away.
I immediately left the store and headed over to Sport Check where I was treated much better and found exactly what I was looking for. Will definitely not be stepping foot in this store again.

I have been into Atmosphere, Kamloops multiple times the last few weeks, leading up to a backcountry camping trip and different hiking trips. I found the staff extremely helpful! They went out of their way to try and get me what I wanted, including having something shipped from another store in my size (thanks Christine). My new 65L backpack fit perfectly and made my hike comfortable. Very happy with the service.

Two stars only because of the first girl that tried to help me, she seemed friendly. Her(what I assume was?) Manager cut her off to "help" me and was argumentative and defensive and just generally awkward. I was looking for a specific item and they didn't have it which was fine so she suggested Canadian tire and I said I had just checked there and they don't have any so that's when she got argumentative (I guess her previous knowledge of a store she doesn't work at superceded the fact that I had literally just left there, not sure how that works). She then told me to go to the um "other place" and I said which one I have no clue what she's talking about? So then it got more awkward because she was "trying to come up with the words" or something along those lines. At this point she started talking to be like I was a defiant child because I was actually asking questions and looking for help. She then offered that I wasn't going to find what I was looking for in Kamloops and basically told me to order it online. That's what I get for trying to buy something locally I guess

If you want to feel like an alien or a leper, go to the shoe department.. I realize it's during COVID but wow, never felt like I was radioactive like that before.

Staff were very helpful and when ask about placs in town to hike happy to give lots of options on trials near by. Very knowledgeable about the products they sell.
