I had a great experience at this store looking for a TV. I haven't bought a new TV in over a decade and the staff member, Christian, was outstanding. Gave me lots of great info and didn't try to oversell me on anything.

Shout out to the big tall guy with long hair in the back room there that tried to help get a tv we bought into the back of my SUV (it didnt fit but he was a good sport in trying). Most of the employees there honestly have awful attitudes, and i mean i havent even approached anyone and theyre already hostile, but this guy was super friendly and helpful. I should have grabbed his name, he was working Oct 25 2024 at 5 30 pm. Give this dude a raise and make him an example of like friendly ass customer service. Loads of customers can be ripe assholes now adays, not a fan of that, but even less of a fan of employees being rude right from the jump either. Lets all just be friends!

Went in to buy the a phone. Guy seemed nice enough but when I asked if the they had Iphone 16 Pro max he pulled out data/payment plans and I politely told no no it’s okay I’m gonna be buying the phone in full. He then proceeded to tell me I’m not allowed to buy a phone out right in full. Is this some new weird ass policy or this just some employee trying to get a higher commission?
Guess I’ll order my phone PAID OUT RIGHT FROM APPLE! ?

I bought my son a wired controller for Xbox and the cord was missing. When I looked at the packaging it looked like there was office tape that resealed it. I live in Merritt and do not go to Kamloops to exchange it easily.

I ordered a microwave. It was delivered damaged so I refused the delivery. I was told Best Buy would contact me ASAP that day. They did not. I was then told they would be in touch the following day. They did not. My Husband called and they said they'd call on Monday. They did not. My Husband called again. They said we'd receive an email in 2 days letting us know how they were going to deal with the situation. THEY DID NOT! It's been over a week! They are holding my money hostage and I have no microwave. Never buy any appliances that required delivery from Best Buy! I can't even go somewhere else and buy a microwave because they won't give me back my money.

Amazing phone sales team.
I brought a new phone on contract from Kamloops location. I forgot the name of person who helped me, I believe it was Mayank with glasses. He gave great genuine advice on what would be best for me. I was happy excited for new phone. But I changed mind and didn't open box seal yet since I was still confused because new model was coming soon. I live in Coquitlam so went to Metrotown location for return.
I informed about returning phone and it's not even open yet. First thing they asked me was, can I visit them next day. That was very weird question, why would I go back again for returning. I said sorry J cannot come tomorrow because.y working hours and store hours are same. Before even trying anything she said, oh it was bought from different location you would have to go back to the same location for returning. I told them I got from Kamloops and you want to drive 8 hrs and spend money on gas to return phone. Other associate had to jump in and suggested to at least try and see if it allows. Then finally she tried to return and the. She was like sorry I am unable to pull up the contract number so she won't be able able help me. I also offered her I can call Kamloops store and get contract number. But still asked me to go to Kamloops. Next day I called customer service they said I can return to any best buy. I asked them to transfer my call to store and wanted to check with them about my options and surprisingly they said the same about being able to return to any location.
I didn't want to waste any time going back and forth, I decided to drive all the way back to the same store and get over with it. I explained them whole situation, they were very apologetic about the inconvenience. I believe it was Lucas (lead) started the return process and was unable to pull up the contract number. All he did was to contact Bell and got contract number and process the return. All he did was to make effort to call Bell and see what was the issue. Fixed it on spot. If Metro town would have done the same thing I would had saved time and energy and stress. But at the end Lucas made sure it's solved and I leave with positive experience.

I was buying an IPad on the weekend, which seemed fine. I am going through a painful loss and this was gift to myself on my birthday. I even just bit the bullet to wait a couple days for a better colour! Fast forward to Wednesday. The day after I was told my purchase would be in Kamloops, I received an email confirming that my iPad and pencil accessory had arrived and were ready for pick up. I also recieved the call that my order had arrived( she told me the pencil accessory so and didn’t say the iPad so I just assumed she read the top of the order and that was that) I was really excited to come get these as these past few days have been terrible. But when I arrived to pick up today I was told that I had only purchased a pencil- by 2 staff members adamantly. She said there wasn’t an iPad on the order. Another employee came over to help and said “can you prove you paid for the iPad”. And yeah those are words but when I spent 1200 on the weekend and only 180$ in merchandise shows up I don’t need to prove anything, you should be prepared to explain/apologize or forewarn me on the phone call about the delay. I should have been told that their shipment was delayed- which took them a decent while to find out. Overall, very unhappy with the customer service for something as simple as a pick up. Just order online, these guys don’t have anything in stock and have no idea what they got coming in.

Would give this a zero star rating if I could, if you wanna buy a new laptop and get ripped off then shop here, they try to make you pay 100$ to “setup your new laptop” when all you need to do is hit some buttons and boom it’s done. They guys just wanna steal your money

I went there to purchase a camera. After being ignored by the 4 staff members that were busy standing in the next asile talking for 20 minutes. I left and bought a camera elsewhere. Very bad customer service.

They won’t let you try on watches before purchasing them. Staff are incredibly unhelpful and apathetic. Do not shop here.

Huge Rave to Alex today! I brought back a watch looking to do an exchange. I was being passed around from person to person who couldn't handle my exchange as my product was over a year old but I did have extended warranty. The first few girls at the customer service desk couldn't get my return to work but Alex stepped in and was able to help process it. I have had some pretty bad experiences at this location in the past, but Alex made this experience a great one! Thank you!
