The best Safeway in town! We haven't had an issue with stock in our most recent visits. Prices are awful now everywhere but we ship the sales as best we can and the Voila service has been very good!!

ALERT : PAPER BAG STORY
Dear customers !
I am one of the regular customers of Safeway. Yes, ofcourse it is costly as compared to wallmart and save on foods. Since, it was last minute purchase and my house is near safeway. I went in.
Could someone update about charges of paper bag ? Last night around 10 pm, a guy with a turban (cashier) said there is an amount we have to pay even for paper bag. I said that I have been never charged for the paper bag in safeway or anywhere (in very polite manner) . He reluctantly said that it was other cashiers’ mistake that you were never charged for paper bag. He even added that he has been working here from last one year. I highly doubt that. I think he played bad there and denied me paper bag. He had that audacity to smirk at that time.
Just for a paper bag, I am surprised that how could someone lose customers and have bad reviews. It is not about money but work ethics. I know that my review might not matter, however I wanted to let it out. I felt wronged.

Safeway fortune dr Kamloops provide nice and fresh bakery products. I like their cakes. Also we can find fresh vegetables and dietary products. They often provide offers for meat products. I would like to suggest that it will be great if they can provide more groceries especially asian products. Staffs are cooperative and they have ample parking area which is more attractive.

I am so tired of walking out of this store with only half of what I need because basics like lettuce has gone rusty, containers of mixed greens have gone slimy, celery is brown spotted, cucumbers are soft, cherry tomatoes are withered and overripe, strawberries and onions are moldy, etc. Incredibly frustrating. Who manages this Produce Department?
Today was the last time.
Go up the hill to Freshco or Superstore if you want decent produce and cheaper prices and way better variety. Fresh St Market is expensive but has good produce too.
